| LOL! I've heard that song before, but I don't think I've ever actually seen the guy before now. I have another one. I caught a really cute moment and immediately thought of this contest. | |

| Awww! I love it, Em. Great capture. And I like that font, too. What's it called, dahling? The Second Time Around is actually one of my FAVE Tony Bennett songs of all time. You probably wouldn't know it unless your parents are big Tony or Frankie fans (they both sang it at some point, probably). Here...I'll sing it for you. Love is lovelier, the second time around Just as wonderful, with both feet on the ground Its that second time you hear your love song sung Makes you think perhaps that love, like youth, is wasted on the young
Loves more comfortable the second time you fall Like a friendly home the second time you call Who can say, what brought us to this miracle weve found
There are those whod bet Love comes but once - and yet Im oh so glad we met The second time aroundIt's soooo romantic ... reminds me of Snacky and me.

| Thanks, ladies!
I don't think I've actually heard that song, Sugah. I think the fonot I used is called "Forte."
There's actually a story behind this cover. That's Gregor (from my Liz Taylor challenge) with his daughter. The woman smiling at him is one of his roommates, Lydia, who he may be starting a relationship with. She's a family sim and has really stepped up and lent a hand to help Gregor take care of Sonia. Sonia really likes her a lot, so I hope things will progress between Gregor and Lydia. They seem attracted to each other, but are taking it slow.

| OMG!! I completely forgot about this contest! This summer has been so crazy and once the kids got back to school I was so busy BREATHING that I totally spaced it. I still have a few days left, though, and since I already have the idea in my head - I'll get started right away. | |

| I think Hunter extended the deadline until October, so you have plenty of time now. Check the first post to make sure. Can't wait to see what you come up with, Ari! | |

| I thought that was so funny, Ari!! LOL I'm still messing with the one picture. I made a tad bit more progress than the first attempt but a bigger mess. UGH! What's killing me is, their reflection. I just don't know what to do with it. Eventually, I'll figure something out. I made the brilliant mistake of working on the wrong layer. Can you imagine how fun that was?!!? I had to put Vittorine's hair back and part of her arm. I was sitting here with a nice long string of naughty words going through my head. Didn't want to click Undo and undo all the work I already did, so I clicked on the Clone tool and used the original picture. Then, I added a touch of Sharpen and Contrast. That's why the bottom of her dress and hair stand out a bit. Back to work I go, and then think of an Intro. | |

| That's such a pretty picture, Ed. I use a different type of paint program than you do, I think, so I'm not sure about how you did the reflection. I don't really use layers with mine. Looking at the picture I probably would have put in the reflection by copy and pasting the couple, flipping the object and resizing it. Would that work for your problem with the reflection or not? | |

| Hey, that's a good idea, Em. Which paint program do you use? I am so completely unskilled when it comes to doing some of the things so many of you can with your paint programs. I bought a book "PSP 7 for Dummies" ... just need to start looking at the dang thing. I look forward to the finished product, Ed. I know it'll be terrific. | |

| You guys are WAY too high tech for me! The only things I deal with are crop, flip, sharpen, brighten........that's about it. I've tried to do the real cool things like some of you do - like putting Hunter in front of the Eiffel Tower. When I'm done though it looks like those fake pictures people take in front of cardboard cut-outs of things. I don't even bother - I don't have the patience. Ed - to me the picture looks great. It's a really beautiful and romantic setting too. I admire those of you with the talent and patience to work so hard on your pictures. | |

| Thank you!
I still think I'm going to do a tad bit more work on it. I think I know where my mistake is.
The minute I saw that picture, I knew I found it.......
Now, to use that unused portion of my brain, the creative part.......Wish me luck!

| It's a beautiful picture, Ed. Really nicely done. One little thing I noticed, though, is that the reflection is a little too sharp and smooth. The water is rippled, but your reflection isn't. I have never done anything with reflections before - my hubby has always helped me. I had him look at it - and he says the reflection is too small - that it should be the same size as your couple - even it it's cut off at the bottom. You almost got it, Ed! Good luck! | |

| I tried to make them almost invisble so the ripples would show through. But they started turning grey.
Maybe if I reversed the layers. Put the water on top of them then turned the water invisible.....That might work.
I agree they are too small. But, I don't want to make them too big either.
I'll monkey around with it a bit more.
Than you, Ari and Ari's husband!

So - I guess from now till the 15th - if you've submitted the one/s you want - formally post them in the new thread I'll start next week for Final Submissions. Jeez - I DO NEED an assistant.
