| Thank you, Dahlin'.
I'll tell you, that was no easy chore putting that ledge in at the bottom of the picture.
If you look at the one I was working on, there's no ledge, they're standing on water. I was going to leave it that way, but I couldn't come up with a title about anything pertaining to, gravity. The well had runneth dry. Not even fumes were in there. Cobwebs and a few marbles and screws were banging around. But, that's normal.
So, I went and got myself a few mini-toothpicks, used them to keep my eyelids from shutting, and went to work. Sadly, the only title I could come up with is, Tonight. But, it's a very broad title. Is Tonight the night? Is Tonight the last and only time they'll be together? Was Tonight their first kiss? Golly.....I could go on and on.
I'll probably work on the picture some more and see what I can do.

| Wow! If you hadn't told me to look at the before and after images, I wouldn't have even noticed that the ledge wasn't naturally there! You did a great job, Ed. Looks fabulous! - Quote :

Honey, you're singing to the choir. Welcome to my world, Sweet Cakes!

| Sugah, when I get that tired, nothing goes right or goes well. I kinda pushed myself to get a halfway decent job out of that picture.
Technically, I'm still not happy with it. The other day, I sat here for about 20 minutes just staring at it. I may go hunt down something else and see what I can do.

| Thank you ladies!
If you look at the original picture, you'll see the shadows behind the couple. I had to turn Michael and Vittorine around so the shadows sort of matched up. I flipped them around.
Look at the other picture I did with all the blue. They are in their original position.
The picture still needs work. I have to figure out how to shink them down a bit and smooth out the edges.
Or, I'll just find a different picture to use.
This is fun!! | |

| I was goofing off with this one..........It doesn't even have a title. I finally managed to darken them a bit and I put her arm back. It was covered by the jacket. I have to try and blend her hair in with the backround. I'm still havin' FUN!! | |

| A few weeks ago I was looking through some old photos and came up with a few book cover ideas. I need to remember to post them when I'm at my own computer again, so don't let me forget, ok? | |

| Funny you should mention book cover ideas, Em. I was just thinking of this challenge the other day and thought I'd start working on something to enter. I can't even remember if there's a deadline. Need to check that! Can't wait to see what you come up with, too! (edited: The deadline for entries is August 30th, so there's still plenty of time!) | |

| I'm still planning on entering this, but will probably not have my submission finished until close to the deadline. I'm not even going to start working on it until the kids go back to school in mid August. | |

| Looks like several of us intend on entering. Awesome! I'm definitely in it for the fun, cause screenshots & photoshopping are definitely not my strengths. But I DID want to see what I could come up with! - Quote :
- The new submission date October 15.
Good deal. Thanks for extending the deadline, Hunter.

| Those are really good Em! Here's another one I was working on. Talk about editing.......sheesh! My biggest failure was, trying to put their reflection on the water. I tried using the clone tool. That would take me forever going one line at a time. I tried the perspective tool, but got lost. So, I used the shadow that was already there and tried to modify it to make it look like them......somewhat. I still might tweak it a bit more. I did want to put some kind of an aura around them so they don't get so washed out by the moon. But, I forgot. | |

| Em, I love them! Great job! I love the titles, too, esp. Beneath Two Moons. Ed, you're doing an awesome job as well. I can't imagine how much time it took to make that image happen. I personally think the reflection looks perfect. | |

| Thank you! I tried to get some kind of a reflection going........ I realize it's too small. Or, too thin....I'm still working on that. But, it's progress! | |

All of the covers have been really good so far.

I found that picture and played around with it. I changed very little on it.
I still have a bit more to do.

| Hunter, since it's supposed to be the "book cover challenge", do our entries have to be shaped like a book? In other words, like this: I'm going to start working on this soon!!! Good luck, everyone!!! PS That isn't my contest entry. I am just diggin' that website our Em found! | |

| Here's the thing - I know a lot of books have that standard size and shape - BUT, books DO come in different sizes so........ In the Immortal Words of Humpty "DooWutchYaLike!" | |
