Chapter one - Fall's Loneliness has now been posted.




After the birth of her baby brother, Victoria's life changed for the dramatically. Her father stopped being attentive, her older brother developed anger issues, and her mother became preoccupied with the baby. Soon Victoria felt alienated in her own home, and struggles to muddle through childhood while her family falls apart.

You're so right, Em. This one has been on the board for over a year. It was actually the first sim story I was going to do, but then I pushed it aside to work on BLD. It's about time I got around to telling it, lol.

I just finished reading the first chapter of EFHIS - Fall's Loneliness - and it was sensational!
Everything was so beautifully photographed and the story is written so incredibly well.

Your storytelling is so captivating and vivid. Your photos only add to the richness of your stories. I've enjoyed these two chapters very much, although the content has been heart wrenching at times. That is a gift of a powerful storyteller - that you can make your readers actually FEEL something. YOU have that skill M'Lady.

Oh Ari......you are correct - it is NOT a happy tale. I think though that those are the stories I'm most attracted to because life is NOT always Tulip Fields and Sunshine. I think these kinds of stories lead us to aspire to have happier, richer lives. I think they're also inspirational to those who might be in the same situation as your characters.

I never seem inspired to tell a completely happy story. It would get boring pretty quickly, I think. I like to really torture my main characters, lol.

Ari, not long before I left for E. Texas last week, I DID get to your latest chapter of EFHIS.
I was just about to leave a comment on your blog, when Snacky arrived home and I had to get offline to go somewhere with him then.

Unfortunately, I never got back to EFHIS to leave some positive feedback, as shortly thereafter, I had to get my crap together to leave for my mom's.

Please know I absolutely LOVED it. The story keeps getting better and better and I mean that.
I completely agree with so many of the positive, wonderful comments that were left on your blog about your latest chapter.

I look forward to the next one. Keep up the awesome work. EFHIS has already become an engrossing Sims tale that I look forward to keeping up with.

Ah, thanks, Sugah! The compliments really mean a lot and help keep me going. I'm coming along with chapter 4. I only need a few more pics, but having a hard time wanting to get them done since I'm having so many performance problems with my game. Slow, then slower, and sometimes freezing and crashing with all my big lots - which includes Victoria's house. I should have made her a poor girl living in a shack so I could use a small lot, lol! But I'll get the next chapter posted someday!

I finally got chapter 4 completed and posted. In Spring's Warming Kisses, Victoria gets to escape the tedium of her everyday life and go out and have some teenage fun. How will she get along with Shane?
