| Have any thoughts about episodes past or present or Arrendale Heights in general? Anything you'd like to ask? Post it here. | |

| Hello Em - I have so many stories to read! It may take me close to a decade - but I will get around to reading ALL of the forum's writer's work! I can't wait to tackle Arrendale Heights - do you have any suggestions for the reading? I understand that when you began the saga - that you began it on Sims 1 - do we need to read from the VERY beginning or is their a place we can start and still figure out what's going on? Either way will be fine, as it looks quite interesting and I can't wait to get into it. | |

| Hunter, I don't know if there's a good place to start in the middle or not. It's a soap opera, so it's pretty much continuous, but like a soap opera it might be possible to jump in in the middle and eventually figure out what's going on. I looked through some of the chapter summaries and pictures for a few episodes, trying to find a place where at least some of the major storylines are wrapped up and didn't find any place that looked very easy to jump in at. You might try Parts 26 or 27, but I think you'd have to at least read the first part to start with.
It's so long, I understand it can be daunting to try to get into. The few times I read through the whole thing to refresh my memory on certain points, it even took me a long time, just skimming through. I'm planning on wrapping things up though in the next two or three episodes (probably 2) and then starting up again at a different point in time. I'm not sure how far ahead I'm going to jump yet. I hope that will make it easier for people to start reading the current episodes and I also wanted to get the second generation going without having my poor ladies be pregnant all the time. I just have to figure out how to do it so the new readers and the people who have been reading from the beginning don't get lost. I think it's going to be hard to write for both in the beginning.
Thanks, Ari. I was so happy to get your detailed comments in my inbox this morning! I appreciate them so much and enjoyed hearing your thoughts. Your a step ahead of me on your comment about Amanda. Just wait for the next update. | |
