| I DO like the green, but agree with you that it may be too much green. I think you might be on to something with the green walls ... perhaps that's it. Maybe a white wall with a green wallpaper border. Just not sure... And the rooms with the green floors might be too much green, as well.
I very much like the bright white furniture/decor against it, though. Nice contrast! Good luck, birthday boy!

| Hey Ed - I personally love green - so I love the loft's makeover. It looks great. As another suggestion to eliminate SOME of the green if it bothers you - Something VERY big city to do is to have 3 white or off white walls and then ONE color wall. You could try that. Usually the Color wall has the least amount of things going on near it or on it. It really does break up the feeling of HAVING too much color in one room - but that one splash of it on that one wall is bold, daring and usually beautiful. | |

| I followed Sugah's and Hunter's advice and came up with this. I'm a tad bit off with this redesign. But, only in the bedroom. What I did was, kept the wall behind the bed green, but covered it up with the pictures. I recolored the bed blanket done by Jonesie. And, when you recolor the blanket, you automatically recolor the two pillows you see. This is the kitchen. I only left the walls and half-walls green. That wall hanging came from the bedroom originally. The music room is the only room other than the bathrooms that are the same color throughout. I did the picture. It's a mesh from ATS. Fits perfectly. The livingroom. This is the only wall that stayed green. This is the house at night. | |

| Lovin' it, Ed! I like the green, the first way and the second way - but I'm very easy to please. I think it all looks great, and your bed recoloring is really snappy. | |

| I thought the all green walls was a little too much green. The recolors look great and adding some white walls, as Hunter suggested, really made a great interior design even better! | |

| I ditto what our ladies here said. Taking out some of the green and adding more bright white ... just the ticket. | |

| Thank you ladies......... I found a different diningroom set to recolor. I only did a few pieces, but I may use this one instead. This is the table and chairs. Any solid colors you see, other than the white, came straight from the original image. And, I did the loveseat, cushion and sidetable. The design on the front of the sidetable came straight from the image. | |

| Thank you.
Yes, I changed it again. I figured out how to upload it MediaFire so I'll have less bandwidth consumption over at Photobucket. I figure, let MediaFire carry the brunt. Bandwidth is unlimited. With Photobucket, I'm limited and I have no desire to stress out again because my pictures got replaced with a logo.

| I was working on a few more recolors. I redid the diningroom again. Then, I redid the Phoenix cushions. And, N-A-N-U from TSR, has the Mao Bedroom Set. I recolored the floor pillow and the bed pillow's. The bed pillow's are tacky, I know that. I just threw some pictures together to see if I could do it. This is the back of TJ and Charles's house. I love the windows. And, not only does Michael have a Grammy, he also has an Academy Award! | |

| Good job on the recolors, Ed! I think I've mentioned before I like the material/fabric of the green pillow. Do you remember where you found it? It's lovely. I agree with you. The windows on TJ and Charles house (from the back) are totally cool. I like 'em, too! | |

| I was goofing off trying a few things and I came up with this. How cool is that? Thank God for the preview button. Originally, I had them backwards. The first picture, I could only use the burgundy part. I tried using the whole picture and it just don't come out right. So, I ended up using only the middle part. It came out better. | |

| I was goofing off again....... The bedroom........ The blanket going across near the bottom of the bed, I recolored. The original had this gross black and white pattern to it. So, in keeping with the theme, I changed it. On the right, you can see the pictures I redid. And, on the left, cigarettes and ashtray and a cup of black coffee. A different view. I like that picture I found on the one wall. Granted, it looks out of place there. The office. And, one of the pictures again. And, I redid the stool. It had that same gross black and white design. This one is off a bit. I can't seem to find the right way to center it. I tried three different times. The livingroom. If you look close, you'll see he takes off his tennis shoes as soon as he walks in the door. The kitchen. I wish I could figure this one out. I don't know if the floors or the counter. I'm at odds. The diningroom. I did the design on the sideboard. | |

| Wow! You've been busy, Ed! I do so like red, white and black together. Thank you for using my Swirl set. I appreciate that and love seeing it in your game. The original art came from here, if you need it for recoloring purposes. It's by Gregory Garrett. Those little framed pictures you did turned out nicely. Good job! I think they'd be great to personalize a Sims home. Who did the mesh and where can I find it? Terrific decorating, as always. I particularly like the view of the dining room looking into the living area: | |

| I was playing around with GIMP and thought I'd try and work on something. This is my first attempt at doing something like this. It is by no means totally perfect. But, I did try. | |

Awesome, Ed. Thank you, in advance. Not bad for your first attempt! I'm still struggling to achieve placing a Sim in a pic and have him/her really look like he/she belongs there. It's not an easy thing to achieve for me, as my Sims always seem to look "placed" ... like they're not truly part of the scene.

| That came from my one picture of BodyShop. I eliminated all the white and did a few other things here and there, and, POOF! All done.
I tried to find a place to put him and I thoght he look better crossing the street since it does seem like he's walking. I almost added a blurring to him to make it look like he was rushing but changed my mind. I do think I could've made him a bit smaller. But, left it alone. I'm shocked I got as far as I did.
I did have to do a bit of blurring along the sides so it seemed like he looked like part of the picture.
But, I learned something new!
