| I was going to comment on the tv area too. Love the combination of the painting and the vases around the tv. Breathtaking! | |

| You ladies know how to make a guy feel good. Thank you! Well, I finally broke down and learned how to recolor. It seemed like the next natural step. I've only done a few small things, so far. These are Custom Meshes, not Maxis ones. Remember in that one picture of Michael's desk, he had those CD's sitting there? Well, I did my own. The mesh belongs to ATS. It's their CD Clutter Mesh. I even did the CD itself and put Michael on it. I goofed and forgot to move his name to the left side of the CD. Then, I recolored Jonesi's Blanket Mesh. Excuse the bedding, but I've been keeping my downloads folder empty when I do this. And, this is the bed from the Leaf Bedroom Set over at TSR. I hunted down a blue wooden texture and played around with the Hue, Saturation and Brightness. If you look at the bottom front, I even recolored the legs white. On the left is the mesh, my recolor is on the right. And, I finally learned how to do bedding. I almost did cartwheels when it worked out! On the very first mesh I recolored, it took me two tries. The first time, I forgot to name the package file when you first start it up. I ended up recoloring the png file. So, I'm just trying out a few small things here and there. Nothing big or major. I'm not ready to jump that hurdle yet. | |

| Ed, that's awesome! I've been wanting to recolor CUSTOM objects and not just MAXIS for awhile. What tutorial did you use? I would love to know. Was it an easy or challenging tutorial to follow? I'm looking for EZ with lotsa images, as I'm a visual learner. Everything turned out so well. I love the recolor of Jonesi's blanket. Looks great! Bedding isn't that tricky EXCEPT when you have something centered on the double/queen bed and it has to look right on the twin bed. That's when it becomes a greater challenge. Yours turned out terrific! I love it! Way to go, dahling! | |

| This is the tutorial I read. It even comes with pictures. It works the same way with Maxis meshes, export, copy, paste, import. I finally did a picture. I recolored an entire bedroom set. It's the Salsa Bedroom Set from TSR. Isn't it simply tacky?!!? And, I got really dorky and put Michael's picture in an IPod. | |

| Here's the newest Sim in my neighborhood, Jeremy Piven. I requested him over at Sim-Antics. Here's his livingroom. I'm kind of at odds with the picture on the wall. It is a dark color, but I'm just wondering how it looks against that red wall. And, I'm still playing around with the diningroom | |

| I was bored half out of my mind and decided to give the Holy Simoly Phoenix Cushions a try and see if I could come up with something. I did this just to see if I could do it. That's what being totally bored does. But, it worked! | |

| LOL, Ed! That's pretty funny, actually. Great job, too! You're getting pretty good at this. Oh, hey. Not to spam your thread or anything, but I just remembered I was trying to find the basic kitchen set you used in Victoria's house. I wanted to use it in my Rainbow Legacy since it comes in so many different colors, but I couldn't find it. Where'd ya get it? | |

That's hilarious, Ed. Hey, if you're bored, hon, you could always recolor something fabulous as an exclusive gift donation to Sugah's Place. I have discovered quite a few creators who allow their object meshes to be included with the recolors...some really talented ones! (Although I don't think Holy Simoly is one of them who permits their meshes, unfortunately. They've got some neat room sets, too, dang it!) Speaking of Holy Simoly, you really did a good job on the Michael McDonald pillows. Bravo, dahling. I like that Arizona set and am going to do some recolors of it for my personal use. Question... Where did you find this dining room set? I'm hoping it the creator is a generous, file sharing one, but if not... I may color it for my own game! Thanks, Ed.

| Thanks, Ed. I've never heard of LaLunaRossa. I won't use the mesh to create for Sugah's Place, as I believe in only using meshes I can INCLUDE with my recolors. I think I'll just use it for my own personal use. Maybe I'll share the screenshots of my recolors here. Then, if anyone likes them, I'll just zip up the files & meshes and send 'em thru email. | |

| Sending through the mail sounds like a plan to me! Here's the rest of the cushions I recolored. Michael I did last. The nice thing about their Phoenix LivingRoom Set is, if you recolor the sofa, you automatically recolor all the rest of the seating in the set. Sofa, LoveSeat, chair and the diningroom chair also. This is their dining room chair. Keep in mind, I only did the cushions. | |

| BuggyBooz had her account hacked and files stolen...... This is over at Black PearlAccording to her, it may have been a Feature Artist over at TSR, but sure yet. UPDATE: It seems like Thomas over at TSR hacked into her site at MTS2. Reason being, she uses the same password at both places. Catch up on all this over at PMBD. You don't have to join to read the posts.

| That Thomas is such a jerk! I have nothing good to say about him. How lowdown and sneaky can you get? He runs TSR like a communist country. You're not allowed to say anything bad or you risk losing your membership, and then to stab your creators in the back? I know she's not the first creator he's had that he's done that, too. Prick. I'm so sorry for BB. Anyhoo - your chairs look great! Nice job. Thank you for the link. MTS2 wasn't working correctly yesterday - their downloads/uploads were offline, but I'll try again today. I'm so thankful for the 'download all' version - otherwise my head might start to spin at all the different things to download, lol. | |

| Ari, why didn't you just ask me to email the set to you? I would've done it and sent everything. I decided to redo Michael's loft again...Found this great bedroom set..... I'm not happy with the floor. But, the design on the wallpaper matches the floor. Get a load of this....... Is that tacky or what?!!? It's a distorted keyboard. Found the picture online and said to myself, "self, that would make an interesting looking cushion." It doesn't end there......This is the diningroom set. Tacky, huh? Extreme? Way overboard? Too much? This is his music room. Now, the picture was made for me. One of the ladies over at Black Pearl sent me a message with a link. She made a bunch of Michale McDonald pictures for me. I thought that was so nice of her. This is one of them. I popped the piano on the other side of the wall. I did that so you could see the picture. I don't think I'm going to leave it there. Come to think of it. I've got that other one of Michael and Vittorine. This is the other side of the livingroom. You can see the piano. Plus, I learned how to use PhotoStudio to make pictures. Two clicks and you're done. Don't have to mess with Wizards of SimPE and export then import. Copy or paste. Click picture, pick the new image you want to use, then save. All done. Fast, quick and painless. | |

| Aw, thanks, Ed. But not a biggie. The download all button was a lifesaver, lol. I now have the kitchen set in use and really like it. However, if you could point the way to some recolors, I'd be most obliged.
Very nice! I really like the bedroom, floor and all. I think the whole set works together and makes a nice room. And I don't think the dining room is too tacky or overwhelming - I think it looks just great! Nice job.

| I read about Buggy's incident over at Sims Divine last week and posted my thoughts there. It makes me sick to my stomach what this Thomas thinks he can get away with. This is going BEYOND crossing the line...simply DESPICABLE. What I don't get is, how can he continue to get away with this kind of nonsense???
Anyhoo...I see you are at it again, Sir Edward. I'm thinking I've liked previous decorating colors a tad more. I think my fave was the masculine browns/blacks/neutrals. Really liked what you did with the whole place using that color scheme. Of course, it's all according to personal taste. Your seat cushions with the distorted keyboard are a hoot! I really like those dining and living room set meshes. I do believe they're amongst my faves.
Congrats on recoloring using Photostudio. I've been recoloring paintings using SimPE. How different is the process? It's pretty easy, as far as copying and pasting the image, like you'd do any recolor, right?

| This is how it works:
In SimPE on top towards the right, you'll see a camera icon, click on that. If you don't have the templates, download them.
Then you'll get a box that pops up with the different choices of pictures (templates) from the game. Pick one you want to use, then hunt for the picture/image you want to use as a recolor. Always make sure you have preview checked. Then click on I think it's called finish. Let SimPE do its thing and when it's done, click on the png file and your new picture will show up.
It's already updated for all sizes, but I do it anyway. And, I click on, Commit. But, remember, you still have to save the file.
Somwhere in all that, you'll have to give your file a name. Can't remember at what part.
You don't even have to cut and paste. PhotoStudio eliminates that.
That Michael McDonald picture was done using PhotoStudio.

| I agree. Michael's blue eyes are somewhat mesmerizing. Beautiful! That white BodyShop background is way cooler than the one the game comes with. It's lighter, brighter, and looks pretty dang snazzy! PS TJ is a SNACK in that ensemble. Lookin' good!!! | |

| I decided to do more redecorating. The idea came from my desktop wallpaper I got over at DeviantArt. This is the bedroom. I recolored the bedding only. The curtains and ottoman on the bottom right were down for me by CrazyTulip over at BlackPearl. The bedding, curtains and ottoman are my desktop wallpaper. The bedroom at night. This is the kitchen. I recolored the cushions and the placemats. Same pattern. Here's the ReadingRoom/Library. The same curtains and she did the chair for me also. On the far right, she also did the WallQuote. Here's a different WallQuote. I had to yank the piano out of the way. It's kind of blurry. Sorry. The livingroom. I recolored the cushions only. That's the Phoenix Livingroom Set. I already know I switched vases. When I took a good look at the picture you see, I changed my mind. I decided to go with the black vases instead. I'm still not done with it. I have to put up lights and a few pictures. I think there's too much green. Maybe it's the wallpaper. We'll see.......

| Before I forget, your new signature is very nice, Ed.
I love the desktop wallpaper you are using for the furniture (bedding, ottoman, cushions, etc). Pretty color ... like the pattern, too. I also like the faux paint wall paper. Nice! The wall quotes are a unique touch.
It IS a lot of green, but it's a pretty shade. The splashes of white help a lot.

| Thank you. I'm glad you like the new signature. I had it made for me yesterday.
I decided to go with a Art Deco-ish/Modern "theme" It turned out perfect. I got a kick out of my name. Kinda interesting.
I keep looking at that house and something is off. I have no idea what it is. A few people like it, including you. But, something is just bugging me about it. Watch, I won't get any sleep because I'll be just staring at the pictures until I'm cross-eyed trying to figure out what's wrong.
