Arrendale Heights News and Updates

I'm currently working on Part 34 and hope to have it finished and online soon. In the meantime, the newest episode on the site is Part 33.

Part 34, "See you in Court" is now online.

Part 35 - "Separating" is now online.

I'm going to announce your part 35 AH update along with Ari's latest BL&D blog chapter this upcoming Sugah's Place.

Cliffhangers are fun, aren't they? I've been trying to wrap things up because I've decided the next episode is going to be the last one for awhile, but it's not easy to do.

Thanks, Sugah. I would have e-mailed you about it, but I knew you were on vacation and probably had a lot of things to catch up as soon as you got back.

With so many things going on, with all the open storylines and characters' lives, I imagine wrapping things up would be very difficult, indeed. Lots luck with that. Are you going to break away for a bit to work on Penelope's story and then come back to AH with the next generation?

It is difficult. It's so much easier to write and think about it as if it was continuing on like it has been. I think a lot of things are going to still be left open at the end, but hopefully I can at least get everyone to a place of this is where they stand now.

Yep, that's exactly what I'm planning to do. Plus I want to take some time to really get to know the next generation better and plan out what's going to happen with everyone next before I jump back in again. I was worried with so many characters some of them (in the next generation) were starting to seem alike, but I'm to attached to cut back on any of them. But they're starting to take shape and distinguish themselves in my mind. I feel like I'm really getting to know some of them pretty well. lol Does that sound funny to say?

Congrats, Emily, on AH's Chapter 36.
I know you intend on, perhaps, picking the story up down the line (next generation or something of that nature), in the future.
But, what a moment in time that must've been for you ... the final farewell of a story you've been writing for many years. WOW!

Thanks for posting the update for me, Sugah. I was planning to e-mail it to you, but I ran out of time last night. I was really eager to get it up since it was finally finished. You can tell from the picture it took me awhile to finish it, since it's snowing in the episode and it's already June in real time. lol I took a couple of good screenshots of that couple. They were posing very nicely for me.

I'm pretty happy with ending it here. I have everyone at a good stopping place, except for one couple who has a long way to go before they can get where I want them to be, but that's not too bad. I'm feeling pretty good about it.
