Well, Sugah, for cats I provide a permanent home if suitable parents are not found as we have plenty of room for them. With dogs, it is not so much the case so I am more of a transitional home until a foster or permanent home can be found. Dogs are usually not here more than a week or so. One of our cats, Storm, was part of a litter that I was trying to find homes for. She had five siblings. Well, every time a perspective owner would come, they would gravitate towards her because she has these big, beautiful eyes that captivate you. Mostly FALSE - I've thought about it, but hubby and I are on different ends of the spectrum with dog preferences.
He loves golden retrievers and I'm a pit bull kinda gal. lol
(Not to mention I like having the freedom to travel with him, whenever possible. A dog would put a crimp in that.)
