PostSubject: SuDo Estates   SuDo Estates EmptyJanuary 22nd 2009, 7:29 pm

This is my neighborhood called, SuDo Estates. I went hunting for an estate looking 'hood and I found this one over at MTS2. It's practically surrounded by water with a bridge on each end.

This is what it looks like during the day.

What a great slide show, Ed. You did a fabulous job on that. I recognized a few celebs other than your precious Michael in SuDo Estates.
I like that hood, btw. You did a good job spiffing it up and any neighborhood that's surrounded by water on all sides is PRIMO to me.

Job well done.

Z, that Star Trek screenshot could not be any cooler! How did you freakin' get it to look like the Starship Enterprise (I was a trekkie and am still an X-filer, btw)?
That's totally awesome! I love their costumes, btw.

Thank you both for sharing. Send Flowers

I've been a Trekkie since day one! The only series I didn't care for was, Enterprise.

Last year on Spike TV, they ran Voyager everyday. My favorite series had to be TNG. My favorite character was, Ensign Ro, Michelle Forbes. Deep Space 9 was really good too.

The hotel/casino I worked at used to hold all the Star Trek conventions. Once a year, we had people walking around like creatures from Star Trek. The only celebrity I ever had a chance to meet was, Lt. Tom Paris. A really nice guy. And, at the Hilton Hotel, we have the Star Trek Experience. I was there opening night. That is one fantastic (and, incredibly expensive) place.

And, I enjoyed X-Files also. I started watching that from day one. I liked the Cigarette Smoker/Cancerman. But, my favorite character was, their boss, Walter Skinner. Then came Krycek. I never saw the movies though.

Thank you for the comments on my Slideshow. I had many different effects and frames to choose from. I sort of liked that one. The hood is all about love.

Oh Sunshine, that sounds so KOOL! I bet you had a lot of fun in those conventions girlfriend! LOL You definitely chose a perfect slideshow for your gorgeous Sims my dear! Bravo!

My dear Sugah, THANK-YOU! Actually, Sgoobysnacks over at Insim, made those walls, and the Start Trek uniforms! They are perfect aren't they! What I'm having problems now is finding Seven of Nine! She was a download from MTS2, I lost her, and now I can't find her again! Sorry

I love Seven of Nine, and the Doc! Capt Janeway kick's arse! Smile

X Files is one of my all time favorite shows. I could sit an entire day watching all the reruns on the sci-fi channel when they did the X Files marathons.
I've seen both the movies and own the last one.

I guess I'm showing my age here, but the only Star Trek I was ever interested in was the original series with William Shatner as Captain James T. Kirk.
That guy was so hammy and such a hoot! I still get a kick out of watching William Shatner in anything from commercials to Boston Legal.

The whole over-the-top thing he has going on kills me. LOL

Anyhoo, I always forget the neat conventions and stuff going on you have there in Vegas, Ed. That must've been so great, esp with you being such a big fan of Star Trek. Yup

Z, I'm sorry you lost Seven of Nine (I don't know who that is, lol). Have you tried doing a google search with the words Sim 2 after Seven of Nine?

Thank you.......I knew I wanted him to have an Italian name. So, I did a Google search for Italian name generators and kept on clicking until I found one I liked.

His outfit and skintone is from Sim-Antics. The minute I saw them, in my game they went.

Originally, he had glasses, but I took them off, because I really didn't want to hide those eyes.

That's a great idea. I didn't even know they had separate name generators for each ethnic group. Good thinking, Ed!
I love hanging out at DL Mulsow's Sim Antics, btw.
As a matter of fact, last night I found a half dozen beautiful female Sims and one handsome male that I am going to download soon.
They have a talented bunch of creators there and DL has a fearless, admirable policy about sharing others' CC (with credit given) regardless of being granted permission from less than generous creators.

Good Job

You know, I can picture Giorgio with glasses, but I don't blame you for not wanting to hide his handsome face. It looks like you have a nice neighborhood with a lot of neat looking sims.
