Hunter/Rona's Absence

Hello Everyone.

I apologize for being away so long. As many of you know I have an illness which causes me constant pain - the reason for my absence from the community.

A little over a month ago, my older sister Karol, was diagnosed with terminal lung and brain cancer. I have created a website with updates about her condition and information about how to donate for fundraising we're doing for her. 

While her prognosis was not good, she has made some progress in shrinking one of the tumors. We are hopeful.

Rona, I am so sorry for all you and your family have had to endure. You are missed, but family and real life come first, of course. I will keep you and yours in my thoughts and prayers. You know how to reach me if I can do anything. Take care of yourself and your loved ones.

Rona, so good to hear from you despite your news!

I'm really sorry about your sister! And can completely understand what you are up against with! My grandma was dignosed with lung cancer a year ago! We did radiation and now she's about to get chemo! Her prognosis is less than a year and all we can do for her is to make as comfy as we can!

I feel like I'm copying what everyone above me has already said, but I am glad to hear from you.  You have been very much missed around here.  I'm sorry that your post here isn't under better circumstances and that your family has been suffering from such hardships.  I will definitely keep you, your sister, and your entire family in my prayers and send a virtual hug your way.
