Sugah's Place Update - 3.13.09 - And Baby Makes Three

WOW! My dear sweet Sugah, this was no 'little' update my friend, OOOOWEEEE! You went all out!!

Everything looks FANTASTIC my dear! The mini-portraits of the tots turned out ADORABLE! And Sugah those 'Mother and Child' portraits are STUNNING! My favorites are McCabes' 'Mother and Son', and Wilcox-Smith's 'Moonbeams'! Your in game pics of all of them were EXCELLENT!!

My dear lady your 'Peek A Boo Nursery' turned out absolutely DARLING!! I love the colors and the textures you used!

My dear HUNTER: Your maternity set is AMAZING! I love all the various styles, colors, and textures!

Aw, how adorable! I love Hunter's new maternity sets. It almost makes me wish I had more pregnant sims in my story, so they could wear these outfits (I say almost because it's a pain to get them showing in the right pregnancy stage at the right time.) I guess I'll have to download them for regular gameplay sometime. It all looks great. You've done a wonderful job, ladies!

Z, I think my fave mother and child paintings are McCabe's and Tofolli's. I love the mood and beauty of the moment mother and son are sharing in McCabe's.
In Tofolli's, I simply love the colors and SW appeal.

I was very limited, as I took them logged in under my second one, which means very few downloads to choose from when decorating.
Definitely need to get more decent stuff in my buy catalog for the secondary log in. I just don't want all the downloads to slow down the amazingly fast loading time.

Thank you SO MUCH for Sarena and Tony & for the screenshots for their mini pics. I've been pondering starting a couple of new families, using Sarena and Tony, in my Moonlit Island hood.
I might have Sarena be the child of a single dad and Tony being the child of a single mom. The parents will be complete opposites - personality and achievement/goal-wise.
That oughta make things interesting at first. Perhaps I'll have the children be completely different from one another, too...

I was going to ask her this question and you jogged my memory: Do the maternity clothes show up in the game as normal, too? Can a Sim who is NOT pregnant wear them for everyday wear? If so, that'd be awesome. There are quite a few of Hunter's collection I'd LOVE to have my non-preggo Sims wear.

Yes, the should show up as everyday wear. I believe you need a hack that lets pregnant sims wear everyday clothes and then just choose the maternity clothes for them to wear. I have a question for you too. Are all of the outfits in one zip file? I was going to download a couple, but they took me to the same zip file. I guess I could just unzip them and see for myself, right? lol

Yes, all of Hunter's Madre Maternity Fashions are zipped individually, then put together in one big zip. It makes it easier and faster for me to upload to FilePlanet that way.

I think the images of each are inside. I should have probably gone through and numbered them, so folks could choose WHICH ones they want.
I'm sorry about that, Em. I don't have the individual numbers of each jotted down. You might have to sift through the individual zips, if you don't want them all.

Z - The baby Sims you've created are adorable and I just LOVE the bonus pictures of them that are downloadable. THAT is an amazing idea!!!

The entire update is just wonderful and I'm so happy that you liked my maternity fashions enough to use them.

Em - using the Insimenator in my game makes Pregnancy shoots a WHOLE LOT EASIER as I can "suspend" the pregnancies and not worry about having them go into labor before I'm ready. You can actually choose which stage of pregnancy you want them in and abort the pregnancies so no children will result if you just want photos of pregnant Sims. I could NOT and would NOT shoot without it. It allows me to shoot all I need within a fraction of the time it would take otherwise. It's HERE if you would like it.

I'm going to, eventually, start adding more fashion lines (elder female and toddler, eg) and reorganizing my current ones (need to eventually departmentalize: Formal, Athletic, Everyday, etc.).
I'm just not looking forward to all that html work. UGH!

That's fine that they're all in one zip, Sugah. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

I was using Insim, Hunter, but it was being buggy. Sometimes the options wouldn't show up right when I was trying to control a sim visiting a different lot. Like the game would think a sim was pregnant, but not let me change the stage or it would let me make them pregnant. I'm not sure what the problem was. I'm glad I only have one sim pregnant now, instead of 2 or 3 and only for one more episode.

Those toddler outfits are too cute, Sugah. I think the new section will be a great addition to your site!

They're absolutely adorable M'Lady and when my lovely modes decide to settle down and have wee ones of their own.........they'll be sporting Sugah's Toddler fashions!

I found this absolutely PRECIOUS mesh at Club Crimsyn, but it has "shadow issues".
See the dark smudges on her shoulders, front and back? At least that's what Z surmised upon looking into it for me (some sort of shadow prob) and I might have to agree.
We can't think of what ELSE it could be?!?
Neither of us could figure out WHAT was wrong, if anything, with the alpha, but THIS kept showing up (see images).

I am so bummed, as I do NOT know what to do and I REALLY love that toddler mesh. Anyone else have any thoughts, suggestions or solutions?
Maybe I ought to send the creator an email asking about it. What do you think?
