Basic's 2nd Anniversary (10/10) - Calling All Creators!!

Hello -

I am writing to you to announce that in October, Basic's forum will be celebrating two years and would like to offer its members a month long download extravaganza.

I'm asking everyone and anyone who would like to contribute to Basic's celebration. I will be requesting submissions by November 15 so that I may put together a presentation before the celebration begins December 1.

I'm requesting any items at all that you would like to offer for download here at Basic as a gift to our forum members. The gifts can be clothing, Sims, furnishings, housing - anything.

I do have a few submission guidelines, and of course after reading, if you still have questions - feel free to ask.

Submission Guidelines are, as follows:

1. All Submissions should be sent to me in a PM.

2. Please Present 1-4 Photos. All submission photos should be 700 x 550. The Photos should not have any writing on them. The staff here at Basic will do the labeling. Please caption your photos with the titles you'd like to use for your download/s. We kindly ask that all submission photos be in-game photos and not BodyShop or Home Crafter photos.

No slideshows will be allowed for this particular submission. Images may not be hotlinked.

3. Please provide a URL of where the Item/s can be downloaded. Please use a file hosting service that does not require our forum members to have to register - a file hosting site like MediaFire or File Den.

4. Please provide the mesh/es with your downloads and to list proper credit to the mesher/s.

5. Please keep the submissions PG-13.

6. Please only present us with items that will be offered exclusively as a gift here at Basic. Submissions that do not make it into our anniversary celebration, will be uploaded to Basic's Treasure Chest section.

7. All submissions will be displayed in a special section dedicated to our anniversary beginning December 1. Items will be hosted here as long as Basic is around. You will be notified by PM, what date your submission will be released at Basic.

8. Requests for removal of submissions should be sent by PM to Hunter.

9. Because Basic is a Sims 2 site, all submissions must be Sims 2 creations.

10. You may submit up to 4 Items for this Celebration.

I have been working on creations for the anniversary celebration in October and hope to have a preview in a couple of weeks to post. I will also include other creators generous contributions in the preview.

Anniversary is definitely a go.

It will officially begin October 28 and go through the end of November.

I will be posting a small preview of some of the things that will be offered sometime this weekend.

If you want to contribute - please keep sending them in.
