Hey, that's an improvement. At least she didn't act like she was going to vomit or give him the big thumbs down.
That's too funny. Poor Micah. From where I'm at, he doesn't look repulsive to me. lol I like the chess playing comments and it's so neat that Elle and Sugah are in the same career path again and studying together. In my game they have different jobs, but they both have culinary as a predestined hobby. It seems like the two of them are drawn to be working together in one way or another. That's interesting. - Quote :
- Ulli and Ari are in the 90s. Em and Hunter are at 100. Joie and Elle have not developed friendships with any of their sisters yet.
Wow, your simsibs are getting along great. I don't think any of mine are even friends yet. In my household they don't seem drawn to group activities like the chess board. They are more interested in the easel and computer and ballet barre. My Sugah seems to like working out (at least through dancing) too. I really am working on making them spend time getting close to each other before I let them get too involved with the neighbors. I'm envious of how close your simsibs were the last time we did this projects. Mine didn't have those tight relationships last time, so I'm trying to do better in that department this time. Looks like you're rolling along. I enjoyed reading the update and your comments!

| Thank you, my Sims sisters! Elle, I'm especially glad you like ElleSim in the pink pjs and her brand new, custom made work out ensemble. I really do think she looks lovely in soft pink. It totally suits her. Looks beautiful against her skin. - Quote :
- Hopefully something will work out for him as he is definitely not challenged in the genetics department.
I know, right? He has a nice face and is a nice enough guy. Ari never had to call him to the table. He went gladly and willingly and ate her burnt spaghetti with nary a grimace! (If he DID act like he was going to puke, I missed it! lol) I'm thinkin' I need to visit the Deerfield brothers abode and see what the heck I have as their likes/dislikes. Maybe change their aspirations ... not sure yet. - Quote :
- I wish I knew how to recolor; I love that hairstyle, but that green band can put a crimp in my style.
Recoloring hair is a pain in the arse. It really is. There are so many files inside the hair package in BodyShop, it's not funny. May I offer you any headband recolor I've done for your own game? You already have the mesh in your game. I'd just need to send you my recolors. So far, I've only done pink & blue. Can't recall if I've done another...maybe a white one? No...it could be a very very soft, sage green to go with that one shirt. Let me know if you're interested. I can package 'em up and email them to you, if you'd like, Elle. Em, I can't take responsibility for ANY of our Simsibs relationships. I must thank the chess board for that. It's funny none of our siblings are drawn to it in your game, isn't it? - Quote :
- I'm envious of how close your simsibs were the last time we did this projects.
It was something that was very important to me. At the time, several of us were very close in the forum. I felt having them establish warm, fuzzy, tight relationships as siblings was such a great thing. It made me feel even closer to those who were actively participating in the project. You know? - Quote :
- ...so I'm trying to do better in that department this time.
You shouldn't have any problem with some of us, Emily. I find that often we gravitate naturally towards eachother in the game...some of us anyway! I've noticed Ari is doing her congratulating everyone thing she was doing in our original project. She's a hugger and a real family cheerleader in this family, too!

| I don't find Micah repulsive in any way. Sugah - I think that workout wear you did looks adorable on our Elle Belle. Plus, it's pink - how could you go wrong? About hair recoloring - I wouldn't even try. No way - no day. I've seen all the files Sugah - I think it's horrifying. | |

I second this! Thanks again, Sugah. And do try to make Micah more appealing to one of the sisters. It would be a shame to waste those genes, .

| Okay, since you ladies think Micah is a snackolicious specimen, I shall make it a point to head on over to his humble abode and check out what the scoop is on him. Will keep you posted!
Elle, I've PMed you (over at Sugah's, I believe) the Mediafire link to Elle's hair. If it doesn't come through, let me know. I'll package it up on a Sim and send it to you. I'm hoping it shows up in your game, though.
Gonna turn in now. Good night, my friends.

| When last I played, Micah Deerfield, one of the three Deerfield brothers visited the La Femme ladies. Those who flirted with him, were NOT attracted to him at all. I need to check if I've changed his aspiration from Popularity to something more desirable to the sisters or not. But... When the ladies visited the Deerfield bros last night, some were actually a bit attracted to him. I did NOT change his likes/dislikes. I remember that. Anyhoo...more on that when next I play. I figured I had better have the boys work out and study, so they are desirable commodities to the La Femme sisters should they be chosen. After all, we don't want our lovely ladies falling in love with untalented, unmotivated SLUGS! Here they are, working out and studying cooking. Their house is bare bones, as they haven't found work yet and don't have much money. David (in the brown tank), Gemini, Fortune Sim Micah (in the blue), Aries, Popularity Sim Zach (in the pale gray with red stripe), Cancer, Family Sim Question: Are these boys too feminine for any of you? I fully intend on creating some other fellas for our ladies, but wanted to make sure you were all okay with the Deerfield brothers. Here's the original screenshot of them: Don't worry about hurting my feelings. I am getting the impression we ALL prefer men who look like men (not necessarily ones with testosterone overload, mind you ...) Oh, and I still don't have much male clothing downloaded. I will try to get some better fashions for them soon. | |

You, girls! What am I gonna do with you, my sisters? Okay, as long as you don't think they're too effeminate, I'll keep the Deerfield brothers in the running. I need to revisit them to see which of our sisters find which brother attractive. Need to get another male fam or two created, too!

| You may recognize Zach from another project we did together, Ari. Remember "A Whole New World" over at PTS? He has just been tweaked a wee bit! WHERE did I find his hair? I don't have that in this puter ... or at least I don't think so ... and I really like it! Anyone know where I found it??? Added later @ 1:30pm on Tuesday: I just took a peek and learned that I did, indeed, tweak Micah's aspiration (nothing else). He no longer is a Popularity, but a Knowledge Sim. That, in turn, has helped his popularity amongst the La Femme gals. So far, we've got (some of us haven't met all of the bros yet or are still repulsed/on the fence about 'em): Ulli & Ari with 2 chem bolts with David. Elle, Hunter and Sugah have 1 with him. David is a Sports enthusiast (pre-destined hobby) and in the Dance profession. Ulli, Hunter & Ari have 2 bolts with Micah now. Em has 1. Micah is a Music & Dance enthusiast and in the Entertainment field. Elle & Hunter have 2 chem bolts with Zach. Sugah has 1. Zach is a Tinkerer who is in Oceanography. I've got the game pulled up now and hope to make some progress this afternoon with our sibs and their possible love matches. Stay tuned... | |

| I think they seem slightly effiminate, but not overly so. But since my sisters have beat me and called dibs first and EmSim doesn't seem to have much chemistry with any of them. I guess EmSim will have to wait for your next batch of guys. | |

| You spoke too soon, Em. SimEm finally met Zach, the Family Sim who is a Tinkerer and in Oceanography and they have 2 chem bolts together. The next round of fellas might be more manly-type men, I think! This is interesting ... Micah is attracted to logic and charisma and doesn't care for unfit gals. When they next met at his humble abode, he and Hunter had THREE chem bolts. She has lotsa logic points due to her love of chess and so does he. I do believe that's the most chemisty between the fams so far of any. It may have something to do with the Deerfield bros moving up in their careers, too, as I think several of our gals and guys are NOT attracted to the unemployed! Anyhoo, here are the only two snapshots I took today. Zach and Elle seem to be hitting it off rather nicely ... Micah and Hunter went straight to the chess board together (didn't she play with him in her skivvys once before, lol?) ... and Ari took it outside with David (who she has 2 chem bolts with) to throw the old pigskin around ... When next I load up the game, I shall see how the La Femme sisters are coming along at their place.

| Sugah - if one plays chess, does it matter whether or not they're dressed? Isn't playing chess a respectful and smart thing to be doing despite one's attire? I love how Elle is gazing into Zach's eyes during their conversation. Very sweet. I need to go load up my game - reading everyone's posts today makes me want to play!! | |

| Clothes are always optional, dear Hunter. But I would imagine you know that, being an expert on the subject of playing chess in one's skivvys. Ari, it's possible AriSim hasn't met Zach yet. I'll double check that. | |

| Well, while testing a newly recolored set for Sugah's Place next update, I decided to actually PLAY a little while the game was loaded. I am embarressed to say, I'm having to get back into the playing groove again. I used to be able to play larger families without even thinking about it, when I was at the top of my game. But it's been so very long since I've played much, I'm still trying to find my cadence with our Simsibs. That being said...I only took two pics, as I was busy flitting here and there, trying to keep everyone happy. Outgoing Hunter gooses outgoing, fellow chess lover, Micah. I love the way Ari and Em seem to approve, but Micah's brother, David, is scowling at Hunter's antics. This action caused both Hunter and Micah to have crushes on one another. While in another room helping Emily find a job (nothing yet, Em), I happened upon Ari & David up to something themselves. I have NO IDEA who did what to whom, but next thing I know Ari had a crush on David. They have two chem bolts. Prior to that moment, I was preoccupied, went to check on Ari, found her gaming (what a surprise - lol) and David staring longingly at her (also a surprise - but he seems to truly be enamoured with her - follows her quite a bit). I am letting the chips fall where they may in the romance department, for the most part. These two seemed to have something for one another without my help whatsoever. I am still trying to find my Sims the right careers. Only a few of them have jobs currently. I'm hoping to load up the game in a bit and play some more.

Short, but great update. I love how David is staring at Ari........longingly is a perfect word. Only two screen shots - but so much was said in each of them! God I love this Adventure we're all playing!

What cracked me up about this picture is how the entire room saw fit to stop what they were doing and gawk. Too funny! - Quote :

I know that it is because the walls are put in down mode, but it's a funny pic watching me sleeping in the back, with Ari pre-occupied with her game, and David staring longingly (I agree with Hunter, perfect word) at Ari's back. These are really good captures so that you get an idea of the household dynamic. Thanks for sharing!

| Thank you, Hunter & Elle, for your comments. I appreciate you both taking the time to do so. I enjoy reading the feedback almost as much as I enjoy playing and creating sometimes! I was quite intrigued by David following Ari around. It seems that everytime I went to locate her, he was on his way to wherever she was. As a matter of fact, his brother left the house at 2:00am or something like that, and David stayed til the next morning! I am thinking these two are meant to be, since they have evidently chosen eachother FOR me. I thought it was really something when everyone stopped what they were doing to stare (or glare, in David's case, lol) when Hunter goosed Micah, as well, Elle. That was kinda neat, if I do say so myself. I can't believe I actually moved fast enough to capture it! I hope to load up the game in the next few days, hopefully. And Hunter, this IS a lot of fun. I agree! | |
