| Heath, a neighbor that Sugah has been wanting to become friends with happens to walk by the house. Of course, she has to find out, "What's your sign?" Ari: "Who cares what his sign is, Sugah. He is H-O-T hot." I thought it would be fun to give the family a night out. I rarely send my sims to community lots, so I thought it might be fun. I almost had to leave someone behind, because our work schedules have someone out of the house almost all of the time. Luckily Sugah had the night off, so we waited for Russ to get home at 8 and all went together. We went to the bowling alley. Russ headed straight for the video games. And Sugah racks up the pool table. Hunter and Ari join Russ while Ulli joins Sugah. Elle and Em are still outside hanging out with each other. Ugh, how rude! Elle doesn't seem to notice Rude Guy's rude behavior towards her sister. She just thinks he's cute. Ari and Hunter change their minds about playing arcade games with Russ and head outside for a game of catch instead. Russ decides to give bowling a try. He's pretty good at it. STRIKE! YEAH! While her siblings play, Em takes in the atmosphere. Em:"These condiments and napkin holder are fabulous. What a work of art." She also finds them hilariously delightful. Then she can't believe her eyes. "Look at these marvelous pots and pans!" Hmmm.... What is Elle up to? Studying her next shot? I think Sugah had better watch her back... I missed it, because it happened so fast, but Sugah did that little shocked, jump animation and the pool game ended. I think she must have won the game and it caught her by surprise. Elle: "Can you believe we just lost to Sugah, Ulli?" Sugah joins Russ on the bowling lanes, while Em is preoccupied with checking out every decorative item on the whole entire lot. Sugah: "Sheesh, look at Em, the art connoiseur. She needs to " Elle decides to pitch in at the snack counter. Elle: "Hi, Mr. Leotard Man. I'm glad you decided to wear something besides your leotard tonight." Sugah may be good at pool, but she's not so good at bowling. But she knocks down most of the pins! Sugah: "Yes!" Ulli laughs and cheers her on. Sugah: "Hey there's that Jeremiah that Elle and Hunter are always drooling over. I wonder if they know he's here tonight." Uh oh, Ulli falls down too. But that doesn't dampen her spirits. Ulli: "Woo hoo!" Em and Elle stand at the snack counter deciding what to order. I was hoping Em would strike up a conversation with the cutie sitting next to her, but since she didn't, I sent the girls to play pool with the rest of their siblings. Em is the only one who had the want to bowl, but she wouldn't do it on her own. Ari joins a couple of guys at their lane. This is her expression after she falls down on her face. The guys find it hilarious. Rude Guy is actually wiping tears from his eyes. Ari doesn't let it bother her though. Ari: "Hmmm. You're hot and you're hot, but if I had to choose. I would choose you, stud." The guys leave when the game ends, so Em and Elle join Ari on her lane. They find her bowling style hilarious too. Ari: "What are you two laughing about?" When it's Elle's turn, the girls give her a rough time too. Em: "Ehh, is that it?" Ari: "You really stink at bowling, Elle!" When it's Em's turn, the girls try to psyche her out. Ari: "Why is it that Em can never cook without burning her food?" Ari: "So why are you best friends with Em again?" Elle: "I don't know." Em gets really annoyed when Ari and Elle make her lose her concentration and she doesn't pick up the spare. Elle tries to change the subject, but Em is not happy about missing that last pin. Meanwhile the other set seems to be playing nicely. They discuss sophisitcated topics like culture and art. And cheer each other on. Elle: "You know Em and I were just playing, right. You're really a pretty good bowler, Ari." The whole family is getting in on helping clean up at the snack bar. Maybe we don't have the money to pay so have to pay our way by doing dishes instead. Oh no, Sugah and Hunter are getting into it again. When I make them be nice to each other, Em decides to frame a picture of it. She wants to remember Sugah and Hunter getting along. Or maybe she's just checking out the guy standing next to Sugah. Uh oh, Em looks bored. Must be time to go home. | |

You know me too well, Em. Even my two youngest daughters know, they're not allowed to tell me about a new guy they're interested in, unless they know his sign. lol How fun that the sibs got to go out for awhile! I love all the bowling scenes. They were hilarious. That just about looks like how I would bowl ... flat on my face, but without knocking down any pins! Em's obsession with checking out the bowling alley's decore was a hoot, too. - Quote :

What's with the anomousity between Sugah and Hunter? Has that been going on since they moved into together? I wonder why they can't get along... I enjoyed all your screenshots and witty captions, as always, Emily. Thank you for sharing. This was fun!

| This group of sims is a riot . . . the things they do when they're left to their own devices. I'd never seen a sim go around a check out all of the decorative items on a community lot before. I had to cancel it out of her queue, because it was getting ridiculous. That symbol is for Scorpio, isn't it, Sugah? Isn't that one of your prefered signs? Yay or Nay, so far? I'd say about half of us fell flat on our faces. I noticed Em looking like she was going to fall. It wasn't very graceful looking, the way she bowled, but she managed to stay on her feet somehow. I don't know what the deal is between Sugah and Hunter. Since that little argument about the birds, I've had to watch them to make sure they play nice. I think maybe they just started out with low relationship points and haven't taken the time to build them up yet. I'm keeping my eye on them and making sure they only do positive interactions until they get to know each other better. Thanks for the comments everyone! | |

Ari: "Who cares what his sign is, Sugah. He is H-O-T hot." That is freaking hilarious!! That screen capture is priceless! The look on Sugah's face here is fabulous! I cracked up when I saw it - I thought to myself - she takes pool like I take chess! I loved this shot too. No offense Russ - but you look smashed in this picture!! Em - were our Sims drinking??!!!?? - SimEm wrote:

The Roomies trying to razz you while you were bowling by talking about your cooking.........abilities. And your/her facial expressions at missing pins is so funny. And Sugah - why can't we get along??!! I'm happy Em frames it for the memory. I love this latest installment Em. The laughter is just what I needed. Thank You!

I am the same way, but I can't figure out why. When I do send them, I have a good time right along with them...go figure! I know why I don't. I play on a laptop and it gets kind of laggy. It's worth taking the time to send sims downtown, but I usually don't want to take the time out of their lives (and mine as I'm waiting for the lots to load.) Can you believe they were doing all of this stuff all on their own? I just catch it and interpret it. This group of sims is a trip! I did direct Sugah to ask her potential friend what his sign is, because I knew the real Sugah would want to know. Em was cracking me up too. I was thinking, what is she doing? She'd go around and look at the decorative items, study them, start thinking about art, and then start cracking up and she did it over and over and over. Between Em's activities, Russ's expression while bowling (which I hadn't noticed, by the way) and the girls falling down on the bowling lanes, I'm starting to wonder if they hadn't been drinking. I wonder if they sneaked a few drinks on the taxi ride over. What I couldn't get over is how Em, Elle, and Ari were are talking about each other and laughing and making gestures while the others were so well behaved. Just chatting nicely and cheering each other on. You can definitely tell who are the older siblings and who are the younger ones. They were cracking me up with that too. I'm not sure why Em was so mad about not getting the spare. She knocked down 9 pins on the first try. In real life I would have been thrilled to do that well! I'm glad I was able to give you all a laugh. I actually played this out awhile ago, like maybe a few weeks ago, but didn't get a chance to upload the pictures and type up the commentary.

A road trip is definitely in order for my family now. That was too much fun.
Of course.......along with everything else, it will have to wait until they can afford the outing.

TOO FUNNY, ladies! Hunter, I don't know how I missed that look on Russ's face. He definitely looked like he'd been kickin' back the brewskis. And with Sugah, falling on her face so much, I bet she hadn't missed a round all night either. - Em wrote:

I am loving that some of us are having such fun with these siblings. It was definitely meant to be and is one of our more enjoyable group projects. Don't you think?

| Here's a couple of pictures I took right after we got home from our outing. I was going to post them last time, but I ran out of time. My little guy woke up. Plus I think I posted enough pictures for one post anyway. Ulli unsuspectingly tries to go to the restroom only to find the whole family already had the same idea before she did. Elle: "Oh, I give up. I'll just wait." Em: "Shoo!" I think it's time to add on another bathroom. Sugah decides to hang out in her room and spend some quiet time alone after the family outing. She looks very thoughtful as she looks out the window at the rain. We've all been working very hard, so by the end of the week we're able to spruce up our house a little bit. Everyone started to decorate and upgrade their own bedrooms (with the limited downloads I have in my game) Here are the bedrooms on the first floor, clockwise from the bottom left is Russ's room in brown, Em's room in lavender, Hunter's room in green-teal, and Sugah's room in orange and reddish hues. On the second floor is Elle's room in pink, Ulli's room in green, and Ari's room in gold and reddish-browns. I meant to take a photo of the main part of the house and the new deck I built on the back so we could enjoy the summertime weather. Maybe next time I'll remember to do that. Hunter: "Ugh, there's nothing to eat in here." Russ: "Will you hurry up and decide already?" Somehow I am not surprised that Ari is the first to find love. She seems to be the most boy crazy of the sisters. She's always swooning over one guy or another. The guy that finally wins her over is Terence. Actually, she hasn't made up her mind yet. She isn't totally in love with him yet, but he is completely smitten with her. She likes to see him work out and cheers him on . . . from outside the front door. They play chess and he talks about maybe buying her jewelry. Ooh. But Ari, still has a wandering eye and can't help noticing the roommate that came over with him - Sugah's Scorpio friend, Heath. I'm thinking about making Heath and Terence brothers. They're from the same household and therefore have the same last name. But I didn't make any family ties for the neighbors that I created. Terence has a confession to make, "I hope this isn't a turn off for you, Ari, but I don't have a job. I'm not opposed to working, but what I really want to be someday is a stay-at-home dad." (Terence, a family sim, is one of the only neighborhood men that didn't have a want or a lifetime want related to a job, so I didn't give him one. ) Ari does not looked bothered by that at all. I don't think she would mind having a man who would stay home, cook meals, clean the house, and watch the kids, while she works outside of the home. She tells Terence how much she enjoys working as a gamer. I think Heath is jealous of the attention Ari is paying Terence and decides to pick on her. But just a little bit. Terence can't keep his mind off Ari. While Ari cooks dinner, Ulli decides to come downstairs and see what's going on. Heath is bragging about himself to Terence. Is he that insecure? Uh oh... Terence: "You know, now that we have gotten so close I have two best friends." Ulli: "That's right. Don't forget, he was my friend, first." Now, Ulli is spreading gossip about Elle. I guess everyone has already heard about what a lousy cook Em is, so she has to spread rumors about Elle instead. Terence: "Ummm . . .was this spaghetti not for us? Why are they all staring at us?" Heath: "I don't know. Don't make eye contact. Just eat." | |

| Em - Girl - You crack me up!!! I'm still laughing about your last post!!! I think it's interesting that Ari is the most boy-crazy in your Adventure - in mine, Ari is always around looking at the decor of the house. In fact, she's usually looking at the still undone parts of the house that look just awful. Maybe it's because like your Sim, she can not believe she lives in that hole of a wall for a home - but she just doesn't voice it. It is actually YOU that always seem to have love on the brain in my Adventure though. We'll see if or how that changes when I actually introduce men to the neighborhood. I think the issue of one bathroom is so realistic. How could seven adults live together, especially with six of them being female - and live with one bathroom?? Quote: Terence: "Ummm . . .was this spaghetti not for us? Why are they all staring at us?" Heath: "I don't know. Don't make eye contact. Just eat." Your posts are so great Em. You brought laughter to a pretty miserable day for me. Thank You! I LOVE THIS PROJECT!!!! | |

| I thought we could use some laughter to cheer us up. I'm glad I could help do that. Hunter, sounds like your Ari has her environment as a higher priority than her love life right now. I can't say I would blame her. lol That's funny that my sim is the one who's always thinking about love? Does your EmSim have a secondary aspiration? If so, which one? We don't have one bathroom. We have two, but I think we could do with a third, for sure. Everyone was just too lazy to go all the way up the stairs to use the second one. Unless Hunter or Ari was already up there. | |

I appreciate it, esp. since I know you do not download much. I love your captions, as always. Like Hunter said, we could use the laughter these days. Ari is usually the flirty, boy crazy one in my game, too...weird since she's supposed to be a shy Pisces. She goes around congratulating her siblings a lot, also, and is a hugger. One time, three of the sisters wouldn't STOP congratulating eachother, so I finally had to step in and give them something else to do. Sheesh. In my game, I've noticed Ulli going around commenting on the art, etc., for the most part. I'll keep my eyes peeled to see if there's anyone else. Thank you for sharing, Em. This was so much fun!

| Thanks, Sugah. With 7 of us working, we're really bringing in the money fast. I'm going to try to post a little update soon with how we're doing in our jobs, skill building, and relationships. Walls aren't something I seek out when I do look for downloads, but you've made a lot of great ones that I knew I would have to download when I saw them. Almost all of the custom walls in my game are ones you've made. I really like using them. So thank you. Sims really do go overboard with congratulating each other, don't they? I had a hack in my game once that stopped sims from congratulating each other, because I just wanted them to something else! I don't know if it's still in my downloads folder or not. I don't remember taking it out, but I think I've seen some congratulating going on lately. | |

WOW! Thank you for sharing that with me, Em. It means so much, knowing you aren't one to download, but have chosen my walls for your Sims abodes. You've absolutely made my day. If I could give you a "star quality" vote right now, I would! Sims congratulate one another excessively sometimes AND for the silliest things! I don't mind under normal circumstances, but when there's stuff to tend to and they're all just standing around congratulating, old Sugah has to step in and put a stop to the madness. lol

| I thought you'd get a kick out of that! When I read it, I thought, I've got to screen cap this, because Hunter has got to see this. Oh, and you did ask a co-worker for help. Like you'd really want to walk up to someone and say, "hey, look at this huge pimple on my butt." But it worked out, because the co-worker helped you in exchange for you helping her with her lines. Someone higher up overheard and offered you a speaking part, so you came home with a promotion. I think it's interesting that Ari seems to like almost everybody pretty well. I think they started out with random relationship points and most of them aren't too far from where they started. I'm going to have to work on making all of them closer. | |

| OMG! That's hilarious, Em! I need to spend more time reading those chance cards. I usually just hit ignore, never bothering to read any of them. What a hoot! I played for a bit myself last night and discovered only a few of the sisters are actually tight. I would venture to guess it's those who gravitate towards the chess table together, but I can't be sure. I'm going to work on them becoming closer, too. It looks like Hunter is the only one with triple chem thus far. I can't remember what that tall, dark cutie's name is in the mustard colored shirt... Isn't it funny to see how we all behave in each others' games and which of us are drawn to each other? In my game, Russ and Ari were always hanging out and playing together. They became best friends before anyone else did. And some of the relationships I had to work a little at, mainly because of work schedules interfering. | |

| I just can't bring myself to hit ignore on the chance cards when they come up. I always have to choose. I don't know if it's because I think the bonuses outweigh the risks to me or if I like the randomness. I kind of feel like I'm cheating if I don't pick on option or the other. Ari and Russ seem to hang out quite a bit in my game. They aren't really close yet, but I imagine their relationship will improve. I'm hoping they all get to know each other better before they move on to other parts of their lives. | |
