| I didn't think anyone would be heartbroken that I didn't make any of us go out and meet unitard/leotard man. He has passed by the house again since I played this part. It sounds like it's unanimous. - Quote :

You aren't worried, are you? I'm just letting them do their own things, live their own lives and see what happens at this point. I'm trying not to worry about too many goals with this project, though I'm sure I will have some goals for us as it progresses. - Quote :
- C/ What happened to our sister Elle's precious green top & jeans? How'd she end up in that homely default ensemble? EGADS!
Those are her work clothes. She's a law firm receptionist. I could think of some cuter outfits to go with that job title, but that's what the game gives her and unfortunately she seems to be running around in that outfit a lot. Her everyday clothes are still the green top and jeans, I just haven't caught her wearing them as much. I may have to make her take a shower immediately after work.

I didn't mean the entire scene, it was really just the part where Hunter came and bogarted me that reminded me of the scene in her black widow challenge when one sister did it to another. You are definitely not creating a manhunter house, Em. I was just teasing a little because of that one part, which I found amusing. - Em wrote:

Thanks but no thanks, Em! The interactions with the sisters along with your commentary is a scream. You really are good at dialog, sort of a modern day, female Arnold Bennett. Em, your nightgown looks really great in game; I can't wait to put it on one of my sims. - Quote :
- On the way out, she passed Em and Elle who are coming home from work at the same time. In the car is a new friend that Em has brought home from work...
I like being on the law professional track, but that outfit has to go. Thank goodness it is only for work. I will never understood Maxis' taste (or lack of) in clothes; what are they thinking? They have lots of other base game outfits that would suit that career track and they have me walking around like a frump, . Great commentary as usual, Em. I look forward to what comes next.

| I would have no problem being cast as the Maneater, Ladies. Especially with the yummy array (minus one freak in a unitard) of men we have in the hood. Jeez - I feel so guilty because in my hood, men are the furthest things from our mind right now. I'm pretty sure Em's main concern is coming home to a house that doesn't require the need of daily Tetanus shots. | |

Ok, I can see that, the sister rivalry. Some of us have tended to gravitate towards the same guys. - Quote :

I'm going to have to look up who that is, but I appreciate the compliment. - Quote :

I'm trying to get our siblings to focus on making friends with each other too, one of my regrets from the last time I played this is not making them bond with each other more before they got married and went their separate ways. From the time I was 11 until I was 27, I lived in a house that was in a constant state of construction (massive remodeling) so I'm probably not as picky about living situations as EmSim is... but I can say I never worried about needing a tetanus shot from where I lived. Thanks for the comments, Ari. I'll try to post more sometime soon.

I agree! That guy was already living in the neighborhood before we moved in and was NOT one of the guys I made for our sisters to meet and he's not very nice as I remember. No unitard wearing, newspaper stealing fellows for us! Em comes home from work and goes straight to her bedroom to be alone. Tough day at work, Em? Then she starts thinking about the cute co-worker that came home from work with her and she smiles. Why doesn't she go out there and talk to him then? Instead she daydreams about Ulli and smiles, her other sisters, and neighbors, even the guy who dissed Sugah when the first moved in. I can't say I blame her. That's probably what I would have done in real life too. lol Meanwhile Elle is entertaining her work friend. What's his name again? It's Darren, I think. Ari and Sugah stay up late playing chess. Then Ari and Ulli fight over the stove while they each try to cook a late dinner. Ari thinks something stinks, but I'm not sure what. Ari and Sugah decide to have a slumber party in the living room. Geez, Russ. Do you mind? I know we only have 2 bathrooms, but little privacy, please. Ari and Elle are home! Em brings her friend home from work again the next day. It's really surprising to me that Em, the shyest one in the family is the only one to bring home a friend from work, but maybe no one else is in her siblings career tracks. Em waits for Elle to finish playing catch so she can talk with her friend. Oh wait, Em, here's someone else for you to talk to. She's not so impressed by him. Darren's really popular in the family, especially among Elle and Sugah. Hunter brags to Ari about how amazing she is. At first I didn't think that was going over with Ari too well. But supportive Ari thoroughly agrees that her sister Hunter is awesome. Her ego boosted, Hunter can focus on other needs. "I'm hungry.' Ari thinks Hunter is so great, she considers painting her portrait for the living room. She pays Hunter a nice compliment. Enough of this love fest. Ari: "I'm so tired." Hunter: "I'm so tired."

One of the best parts of doing our original Roomies Adventure, was having the siblings become really close with one another. They were all always in the 90s, near 100 relationship points-wise, if I am remembering correctly. It was such a big part of the experience for me. Thank you for sharing. Fun stuff!!!

| Oops, I should have made Hunter/V say I'm so hungry, not tired. I think I was getting tired by the end of typing up the post. My sims seem to be hungry quite a bit. I don't know if I let the food supplies get too low, or if they were just having trouble finding the refrigerator on their own.
Thanks for the comments. I have a lot more to post. I'm waiting until I get some undivided time to do it though. Hopefully, tonight.

| When they have cheaper stoves and fridges they can´t keep themselves full? for a long time. you have to make them work so you can buy them a more expensive stove and refrigerator. I think the food skill is importent in this issue as well. | |

| Thanks for the suggestions, Ulli. I know my sims are lacking in cooking skills. I'll try upgrading their appliances when I get the chance. Poof! Gasp! Cough! Sigh... Look who's back! It's everyone's favorite guy, Mr. Unitard! Sugah is an arts and crafts fanatic, I catch her reading the newspaper on the topic (and Em browsing the web for arts and crafts often.) She puts down her paper long enough to socialize with these two guys, but is less than impressed by them. Jeremiah follows Hunter into the bathroom to flirt with her. Elle, not wanting to be forgotten, follows them and butts in to tell Jeremiah how great she thinks he is. Elliot, the guy that Em was so excited about getting a phone call from, calls the house fairly often, this time he calls to talk to Hunter. "If you could have 3 wishes, what would they be? Hunter: "A new pair of shoes.... A free make-over... and to make some really good business investments so I can strike it rich! Why? Are you going to grant me three wishes?" Elliot: "No, I was just curious." Hunter: "Oh . . . well, I've got to go." She hangs up the phone. "That was a stupid conversation." Elle: "I wish Jeremiah would go away so I can write about him in my diary." Later, Elle gives up trying to write and goes into the main part of the living room. Elle: "Hello, I need a shower!" Jeremiah: "Phew! You don't have to tell me! Go take a shower already!" Poor Russ must have gotten struck by lightening on his way to or home from work and I didn't notice. I saw that his stats were low when he came home from work, but somehow I missed his appearance until the next time I loaded up my game. Luckily after a shower, a hot meal, and some rest he was as good as new. Ari is one of the first siblings to actually serve a group meal. Ari: "What, you think I made this to share? Nuh uh, this is all for me. I'm starving!" She is generous enough to let Russ have one of the 6 bowls of cereal on the table, before working her way through bowl number 3. She really was hungry! Russ is constantly thinking of getting engaged, or married, or having babies. He's not a family sim, not even his second aspiration is family, so I'm not sure why he has all these family sim thought bubbles. Maybe he's anxious for the day he has a family of his own and isn't the only brother in a house full of sisters? | |

| Lightning strikes suck! Russ was looking pretty rough there! I've decided to program my seasons as only having Spring and Summer because we live near the waterfront and in a non-snow belt part of the "country". There are too many things going on that I don't want to worry about leaves and snow. I wish I had thought better of spring though - because it rains a lot in my game. I love the little thing between V, Elle and Jeremiah. I do hope it doesn't get nasty. The phone conversation cracked me up too Ari. And doesn't it seem that we're starving a lot between all of our game plays??? It's funny that your Sims are lacking in cooking skills Em, mine are doing really good. (Not that they have a functioning kitchen) They often read cooking books and I believe Sugah subscribed to a Culinary magazine. The house looks really nice and comfortable and I think it's neat that Ari is the first to serve a group meal. Thanks for sharing! | |

Me too. So far it's been very innocent. I think he flirted with V just once. I believe he's friends with Elle and almost friends with V, but there are no crushes yet. I think V and Elle are just having fun with him. Hopefully if things go beyond that with one of them, the other will back down gracefully. Several of us seem to have high chemistry with the same guys. I've been keeping my eye on Ari and Ulli, making sure they don't step on each other's toes over aguy they are both best friends with. Thanks for commenting everyone. Seeing what everyone has to say about the updates is more than half the fun!

| Hey there, Mr. Jogger, are you really stopping to stretch or are you just trying to check out our sister, Ari? Hmmm.... A best friend! Ari wants to capture this moment in her memory. Em: "Are you bored, Elle?" Elle comes over and starts talking about sumo wrestling (which I find hilarious when my sims do that.) and then starts talking tennis. Meanwhile V looks like she's not having a very good phone conversation. V: "Me cook? You must be crazy?" But it's Jeremiah that she's talking to, so she remembers how hot he is and tries not to hold it against him. Ari's new bf, Terence can't hide that he has the hots for her. Terence is also best friends with Ulli. They were best friends first. Ulli starts spreading gossip about Em again. Ulli: "My sister, Em, over there, burns dinner all the time!" Elle: "I wouldn't complain if someone served me burnt dinner right now. I'm starrrrvvvvving!" This time it was my fault. I hadn't realized the fridge was empty so we had to order some delivery. The delivery man was a standard Maxis faced townie, so I doubt any of the sisters will try to get to know him. Elle: "Oh no, Hunter is not over there dreaming about Jeremiah!" Russ; "Hey, girls. Can I play too?" I'm not sure what happened between Ulli and Elle here, but it doesn't look like it went well. Ulli tends to do negative reactions with the others once in awhile, but she's quick to turn around and try something else more positive. Elle and Em are the first in the family to become best friends. Yay! Em: "Ugh, this burnt food isn't even worth putting on the table." Em: "I need something non-burnt to eat!" She's overly tired as well, so decides to skip dinner after her failed attempt at cooking and goes straight to bed. Ulli doesn't mind a little extra crispness and scarfs Em's burnt dinner down. Hunter and Sugah seem to be getting along. But that doesn't last any time at all. V picks a fight with Sugah. Sugah: "For Pete's sake, we're arguing about birds." V: "You're right, Sugah. I'm sorry." Sugah: "Don't ever pick a senseless argument like that with me again!" She's angry, but Sugah can't stop thinking like an artist. Russ: "What is going on down here?" Russ: "Sheesh, what a couple of babies." More next time. The siblings go on an outing! | |

I also liked the way SimEm asked her sister, "Are you bored, Elle?" That slouchy pose of theirs makes it always seem so, doesn't it? - Quote :
