| I'm stuck in some sort of a remodle. I sat here scratching my head to the point I created another (not so needed) bald spot. As you already know, I have my Ultra Modern Loft that I love to redecorate. In case you forgot this is what it looks like. Now, since I'm redoing Michael's loft in brown, I found these doors and windows and found a brick wallpaper I could use outside. As seen here. My turmoil comes from, does the door and windows go with the design of the loft? The color of the window panes matches the color of the brick. The windows and door go with the brick also. But, does wood go with Ultra Modern?!!? I'm so confused If I get a NAY instead of a YAY, I can always download a brown recolor of the windows and doors. But, I might keep the brick wallpaper. It's not really that bad....... | |

| Now, keep in mind that I'm not a decorating GURU by any means, but... The wooden brown door & windows don't scream "modern" to me. I love the brick style and colors, but they don't seem very modern to me, either. When I did a Google search for "modern loft exterior", most exteriors appeared a solid (like your original), smooth stucco. The lofts that showed up with bricks, appeared older. I'm sorry about your newest bald spot, dahling. You certainly take your decorating seriously, m'dear. | |

| Well, I used Super-Glue and glued my hair back to my head. I don't have a bald spot anymore.
I dumped the wood door and windows and got ahold of the brown recolor. And, I found some plain stucco wallpaper for the outside/inside. So, I'll see how that turns out. | |

| Okie dokie, I found a tannish color for the outside. It's called Relaxing Latte (stucco) and I found the brown recolor for the original windows. Now, I put that brownish bedroom back in. I've got different versions of it. This is without the rug. The floor is all wood. Here it is with the rug With this one, I changed the windows and added the pictures that came with the set. That little thing on the nightstand on the right side is actually a brown watch. BuggyBooze made it. It's an alarm clock. Now, I'm back to the point if I'm going too dark with the floors. I can lighten them up a bit. This is how the creator put the bedroom together. Dark brown walls and dark wood flors. I tried to see if I could somehow match what was in the picture. No rug. With rug | |
