BTW can I add that with the seven siblings in my game (all expansion packs up to Mansion and Garden), I started with 50,000 Simoleons, no cheats, it was base 20,000 Simoleons plus 5,000 Simoleons for each sibling. I don't know what you are all starting with, but can we get a census?

I have all EPs and SPs so I assume I will start with the same amount you did. I am not sure it really matters, however, since this is for fun and to see how everyone's game pans out. What do you guys think?

Back in the old days, the game use to only grant $20,000 to every beginning family, regardless of the size. But one of the EP's changed that. I think it was either AL or FT. Now it appears to be $20,000 for the first sim, and $5,000 for each additional. My original family was 6, and we started off with $45,000.

It must be AL that changes how much starting money you have. Because I have FT and my families all start out with 20,000 regardless of size. I didn't even know any of the eps changed that. Anyway, I ended up starting out with 40,000, because I created Russ and Elle in CaS separately from the others.

I guess this is the place to ask.

How long in Sim days does this run for or is it unlimited?

There's no time limit on it, since it's not a challenge or anything.

Career Preference: use too do the money cheat, and have fun when others are working, but when I bout OFB, I liked to have a Flower shop, or a women dress shop well Its a good place to meet a cute girl!
In real life like in the game I know that girls don't have to be cute to be sweet, they got beautiful from their acts, and the other way... I ones saw a good movie that illustrated that... My big love... I think the name was, the guy was a totally jerk, that just went after photo models types, one day he get stuck in an Elevator with a hypnotist guy, and after that he just see the beauty within! Hobby Preference : Don't have any hobby, don't have that expansion pack... But in real world I like to explore things and places, also like to cook tasty food, and bake, and also a big fan of movies, and Jazz music, and blues... I always wanted to stand in the rain on the beach and play a saxophone a big one with dark tones in, maybe lullaby in blue or a slow Ain't misbehaving, or why not something more happy like Half Nelson like Gerry Mulligan plays, but he plays the trumpet... well there I go again, you have to stop me when I start blabbering...

The Pet Bug

Among the bugs included in the Pets expansion was an extremely weird one... The version of Body Shop that installs with Pets was changed in such a way that almost all creations made by creators with the Pets expansion pack will not work right for those without that expansion. Body Shop creations made by Pets expansion owners will show up for non-Pets owners as full body nude thumbnails, and will not function properly in non-Pets games.

This has been corrected for creators by Maxis/EA in a patch for Body Shop. If you are a creator, you can get the patch here: http://thesims2.ea.com/help/index.php?pid=Help

That patch will NOT fix existing creations made with an unpatched Pets Body Shop, nor should anyone who does not have Pets install that - it will not fix any nude Sim thumbnails and make those creations usable for you.

If you do not have the Pets expansion and you would like those items to work for you, you have three options:

* If you are fairly experienced with SimPE you can use it to fix those items for you. For instructions, see: Tutorials:How to Make Your Pets Bodyshop Creations Work for All EPs.
* You can just get the Pets expansion. Those items should start working after you install Pets, assuming you have the right meshes.
* Delete the non-working items and notify the original creator of the problem. If they get the Pets Body Shop Patch and re-import the project using their existing textures (or use SimPE to fix the existing files) then you should be able to use their fixed files in your game. This is probably the best option as it also alerts the creator to the problem - they may not know that their items do not work in Pets.

Well we shall see if Ulli or any of you others that not have the Pets
having the same experience!

Yes Ulli I did, but the problem shows when they comes to body shop, like it says on MTS2 it can just bee seen by people that don't got Sim Pets expansion, and I think all the others had that, but I don have that, and thats why I got that, problem... this is what I think, it don't have to be like that, it is like she adopt makeup and skin from the last wived girl, that means I could have a lot of Ullivera in my neighborhood that not looks the same but Its annoying because evry time I open that lot she lives on, she got a new look for me... so to day i have deleted her, and maybe I shall try again...

I believe you are right, Jackie. A friend of mine had problems like this before he got Pets installed. The thing is, I believe Sugah, while she has Pets, uninstalled it at some point. Ask her...perhaps she can help.

We see about that, the only thing to get red of the Pet bug is to install the Path, and then make a new Sim me, (i mean re pack it)

I don't have Pets installed. I did at one time, but when I had to do a total restore, I decided not to reinstall.

UlliSim didn't show up in my CAS mode with anything but a HEAD, FYI.
There was no body...zippo...Just a floating head!
I think it is because she packaged her in an ensemble from an EP I do not have (Season, perhaps? Or was it Pets?).
I think I ended up having to give her different skin, then dress her in something from my game, but don't quote me on that.
I'd have to read back through my thread in the LaFemme section to know for sure...

Oh, yeah, that's right. I don't know if Jackie has Seasons. I have them all (that's right, I'm a sim nerd) so I didn't have any issues. I believe Ulli installed her lovely with the Seasons raincoat. That may be the problem. I knew Sugah could figure it out.
