| Well, I am fine with everyone using the existing Elle. Anyone who has not downloaded her, or not started their adventure can use the new and improved version, but it is not a big deal for me either way. The whole point of the adventure was to make them all siblings, so it would not make sense for people to have to move anyone in later. So, I will upload the new and improved version and hopefully some of my sim-siblings will make use of her. | |

| I'm sorry if I've caused anyone inconvenience or stress by not realizing the ramifications of a late addition.
I do think we should continue on as planned and that Caleb and anymore new additions should play with the Sims they'd like. We will leave our original 6 as is and start a new thread for the new players.
In the future - I think for these kinds of plays we'll set definite cut off dates so people do not feel as they have to start over when new people join and people who want to join know there was a cut off - but should look out for new rounds of play.
I hope this is acceptable by all. Let's have some fun!

That is true, Elle. I concur. No stress whatsoever, Lady H. I don't think anyone feels that way, honestly. I like your idea to continue on as planned ... six female siblings named La Femme ... and if anyone wants to add Caleb to their hood/family later, it can be their personal choice. Whoda thunk the day we had all submitted our Simselves and were ready to go, someone else would want to join? We couldn't have known. A cut off date, in the future, wouldn't be a bad idea. I am in agreeance with you there. I'm down with the way you've laid it out. Looking forward to our little adventure. Okay, La Femme siblings ... Full speed ahead!

| I've started. I haven't played, but I put the family together and got a house built/decorated. Everyone is set and ready to go - though I still need to create some townies. I certainly wouldn't mind adding Caleb to the hood, but it's too late to add him to the family =( | |

| I figured that would be the case for some, Ari. My guess was that several of us have already created the La Femme Sister fam in CAS, so that'd it be too late to make Caleb a sibling.
We can just leave it now that anyone who would like to add Caleb to their family or hood, may do so when & if he posts his Simself. Totally optional!!!
Is everyone cool with that?

| Well if it is to late I can gracefully exit, but to add me you only need to use the Insimenator Relations Adjuster.
I run my game with 140+ hack packages, but I will only use a couple, one being the Real Life Age Hack where the adult stage is 90 days.
BTW can we use non game careers?
Playing and posting updates is not a problem here.
Edit. If you want to add the updated Elle, you can swap the old with the new, using SimPE.

| I haven't had a chance to load up my game yet to make our family yet, but I'm hoping I'll get a chance to soon. I was used to the idea of just having six, but I wouldn't mind adding Caleb later. It's pretty easy to add family ties in simpe or with the sim blender (or as Caleb mentioned, insiminator, as well.) If there were enough people interested splitting into two would be a good idea. Our household would only have room for one more anyway, but since there probably won't be many more joining now, I'd hate to leave Caleb out of the fun totally. What's French for "the man?" I could use that for his last name instead. I definitely want to use the new and improved Elle. I'm debating whether to wait to add her to the family or use the original one as a placeholder and swap in the new one with sim surgery in simpe. Custom careers should not be a problem. At least I wouldn't think so. | |

| In French. the man = l'homme One of the Custom Careers, there is a $20,000 bonus before the last promotion, but after the last promotion there is another of $25,000, but $25,000,000 is added to your funds. | |

I don't think anyone needs to exit, but I do think for those who've already created their families they can leave them as is. I'd created my family in CAS already, but have not begun playing. I plan on incorporating you into the story, just not sure how yet. I also know that not everyone is comfortable with having hacks in their game - so whether or not they add you to their family or just to the hood should be up to them. I think, for me anyway - I want to use the in game careers to keep the play as natural as possible. I don't know what everyone's thoughts on this are - but I think we wanted to use as few cheats as possible. My 6 are moving into a broke down $44,000 warehouse, that over time and hard work they're going to renovate into a beautiful home. I like the idea of them struggling and actually earning their way. I think the original 6 should carry on as planned, and for new comers we should begin a new thread. Maybe Caleb can round up 5 guys to play and they'll be the L'Homme Family???!!! THAT would be a hoot.

| Finished my self sim (as I once looked before the beard, I hate shaving), I went with the Maxi's bodyshape but if you want the SBB, so be it. Well if you would like me to make 5 other sims, to make up the L'Homme family, throw up a list of Names and I will look into it or each of you list a name and you can go to your heart's content, in pixelated glory. For me I am spoken for in my game, my Avatar Sim Olivia, is looking the goods. Tis how I will look in Cas. You can grab me here. Name: Russ L'Homme/LaFemme (tis only a name and a fictitious one at that) Astrological Sign - Pisces with quite a few Aquarian traits Aspiration - Fortune (secondary for those who have FT - Knowledge) Turn ons - Fitness/Logical Turn off - Stink Preferred Occupation - Adventurer, Natural Science or if you have it Imformation Technology Administration (what I will be running) Preferred Hobby - Music and Dance/Tinkering Gender Preference - Female Clothing Style - Casual (have been a jeans man all my life, but I do own a suit or two) | |

| I'm not comfortable using SimPe for anything other than cloning, however, I do have the SimBlender. I will check into using it to add you to the family, Caleb, and the new Elle, as well. I haven't actually started to play the family yet, and I have other stuff going on this weekend, so I may not start until Monday, anyway. And since you have custom careers installed, just put me in whatever - the point is to have fun, so I don't care. =) If you prefer the Slim BB for your sim, I have that and can download a few basic outfits to go with it. Would you like us to also download your lady friend, as well? Otherwise, if you don't want to see other girls, you'll have to be celibate...and that's...boring. It shouldn't be too hard to restructure the house a bit to make you a bedroom. Can you handle having 6 sisters? I have the unlimited family size hack installed in my game, so extra people beyond 8 won't be a problem if more end up joining later - I just may have to add a few apartments to the lot or an extra floor, or something. I built a small house for our family, and decorated it simply. But our family started with $45,000, so they were able to get decent furniture and walls and floors for the whole place, so they won't have to rough it too much. We each have to earn money for double beds ;) Right now we only have cheap singles. Or...maybe I'll create something else so they have to work hard, like Hunter is doing. That might be kind of fun. | |

| Here we go. Although not a perfect (nothing is) replica of yours truly, this is closer to what everyone sees when they encounter me. The style, sans headband, is actually almost exactly like I wear my hair during the hot months. The rest of the year when the weather is comfortable, it falls ridiculously curly a little past my shoulders, usually parted in the middle. If you have seasons, feel free to change it accordingly. I really don't wear make-up, so I made her up the same way. Lipstick is a must, though, but anything else is your choice. I said this before, but so you don't have to scroll back, I never, ever, wear sneakers unless there is no other way. I usually go from sandals and sundresses to pants and boots. Okay, have fun with her. Here are some pics. You can download your new sister here. Here are her stats once again so you don't have to scroll back: Name: Elle La Femme Aspiration: Knowledge Secondary Aspiration: Family Sign: Libra Sloppy/Neat 3 Shy/Outgoing 7 Lazy/Active 2 Serious/Playful 6 Grouchy/Nice 7 Turn Ons: Facial Hair; Charismatic Turn Offs: Unemployed Career Preference: You choose as long as it's not the slacker path, or something outdoorsy which is totally not me. In real life I married my first love. In the game, make me however you choose, I really don't care. I will live vicariously through her.

| I'm one of the Simmers Hunter mentioned who does not use many (hardly any, actually) hacks in my game. I have just a harmless few (marhis-marriage-lastnamedialog, Christianlov_SimBoutique_ClothingRack, Decorgal_import_modelposes, LookAtMeNOW and SW-Predestined-Hobby-Adjuster). I like playing the game with minimal hacks and minimal cheating, to be perfectly honest. Makes it more of a challenge for me and there's more gratification when my Sim achieves something. This is just my opinion & preference, of course. Keeps things more natural, in other words. I have NO QUALMS about people having a hack for everything possible in their game, if that is their preferred method for playing. That being said, I am going to build a nice little abode for Russ L'Homme and perhaps, make him a brother to some of the single men that will be available to our Sim sisters. If you would like to save yourself for beautiful Olivia, Russ, we'll need to download her. I can't remember if you've made her available for downloading or not. Your Simself is adorable, btw. Verrrry cute! Great eyes and I love his hair. I like his ensemble, too...very spiffy. I'll download him today. I don't have any of the careers in my game that you've mentioned. Are there any from the Base Game or Freetime that would suffice, Russ? I'm with the others. I think careers should be left up to the individual player. I have downloaded some great careers in the past from MTS2 and have no objections to others' using them. Currently, as I just mentioned, I am playing only with careers that come with the Base Game and Freetime. I don't believe any came with NL or AL, did they? I forgot to give my Secondary Aspiration for those who have Freetime, btw...Knowledge, please. Elle, your Simself is simply lovely! I love her eyes. I'll make sure ElleSim is NEVER in sneakers and will only have her wearing minimal makeup, my friend! You've got it, Chica! We are really coming together on this project. It's shaping up, isn't it? Once you all have our family/families laid out the way you'd like, you can start posting your adventures and screenshots in the new forum category Hunter has started. Everyone should start his/her own thread, as our grand hostess has suggested. I'm looking forward to having our La Femme/L'Homme families earn their skills & keep and start from having the bare essentials to becoming very successful, productive citizens of Tres Lagos. Looks like we're pretty much all set to go. Correct? | |

| Oh, Elle. She's beautiful. What a pretty sim. I will download her and replace her in the family.
I've added Russ to the family - it is astonishingly simple with the SimBlender. He is officially our brother. I just played him as is, Russ - I don't have as much Slim BB stuff as I thought, and I was really eager to get going - I hope that's ok. I can always give him a buff bod later.
I played our family for a little while today and took a few pics - and will start a thread to share them within a couple of days.

| If you want the Career I will be running: Information Technology Administration (This is not the big payout career, that is on an adult site.) So the idea is that everyone has the same gene pool in their game? I am not overly keen on letting Olivia into the wild, but if you want her I can PM a link to her. Geez you think you have very few male clothes, I normally play all girl hoods and mainly have Fashion Model, Pinup and CPU clothing. The Hood I will be playing is Veronaville, with all game families removed and have wiped out all males with Chistianlove's Gender Specific Killer 3000, forcing the game to reproduce new males with replacement face plates, much better looking males result.

| Elle - Your new self Sim is scrumptious. I'm going to play the 6 female siblings so we can remain La Femme and add Caleb into the neighborhood and into our lives in a very interesting way. I had my game play mapped out in my head prior to his joining, but the addition of him will work fine for what I had planned. I've been feeling overall oogie the past couple of days with my condition, but do hope to get to play this weekend. I'm very excited and happy that we're all participating in this. | |

| I love the new ElleSim. She's so pretty. And RussSim is a handsome guy as well. I think Hunter said it right, we're going to have some really good looking neighborhoods. - Quote :

No, we don't neccessarily have to have the same gene pool. Only if we have sims that we want to share or would like to have shared. If you wanted to have a relationship with a particular sim you could share her with the rest of the group, but that's optional. You don't have to do that. The last time Ari, Sugah, and I played this type of challenge I'd made a sim of my rl hubby and ended up packaging him up for them to put in their games. This time I decided not to. Hunter mentioned adding her Brian to the challenge at one point too. - Quote :

So did I. 2 years ago on this Tuesday. But my simself doesn't have to be that way. It will be fun to see how my simself is in everyone's different games. I don't wear much make-up either. 99% of the time I don't wear any make up at all. When I do I usually just wear a little eyeshadow. Lipstick just doesn't look right on me, I think. But I put some on my simself, because I think it looks better on her than the naked lips on her skintone. In real life I wear jeans and sweaters with boots or sneakers in the winter and short-sleeved shirts, shorts, and sandals in the summer. I like dresses and skirts, but I feel too weird wearing them unless I have a special occasion to dress up for. So you can either dress my simself down if you want to be more like how I really dress or dress her up to be different, I'll be fine either way. I thought about adding Russ to the neighborhood in another household, but I just went ahead and added him to the neighborhood with the new Elle Sim, so we're all living together. Last night I got us set up and settled in our new house. I'll try to share pics shortly, if the little guy will let me stay on here long enough without dragging me away. Oops, here he comes already!

| Okay, I downloaded the IT career for you, Russ. If you want Olivia as your lovely female companion, you will need to PM the link to us then. Sounds like a plan!
I don't wear much makeup either. Black mascara, a bit of eyeliner and a natural colored lip gloss are a must. And if I haven't gotten my beauty rest, a little concealer under the old eyes never hurts either. lol
I hope to get rockin' and rollin' on this soon. Tomorrow is a Bay Day, so it might not be til Tuesday that I get us all situated in Tres Lagos.
Like Hunter, I am excited about this project and really looking forward to it!
Added later...
Oops! That career won't fly in my game, Russ. I only play with NL, FT and AP. I just discovered Uni is required for it, I believe! Pick another based on what I have installed in game, if you wouldn't mind, k?

When I took it, it came out kind of close, but when I put the stats in game it did not come out libra, either. I believe most people said this. You can use those traits or choose to use your sign and deal with what the game distributes. Up to you.

| In my game, Russ, I made you a Pisces. Is that okay? I can alter your points, if you wish. Both you and Hunter have 'too much' personality for regular CAS. Let me know, as it may get annoying to see your simmie NOT being as tidy as you are in real life. You, as well, Hunter - I made you a Leo - whatever the game perceives that to be. But I can boolprop you, if you want. | |

| My personality points made me an Aquarius in the game the first time I tried it. I'm a Capricorn, closer to the start of Aquarius than the end of Sagittarius, but not on the cusp. You have to be really lazy to be a Capricorn in the game. I think I just did the standard Maxis Pisces for you, Russ. If I'm remembering right. I tried to shift a few points, but it jumped to Cancer when I did that, so I think I just left it as it was. | |
