Man I love this song.
Why can't all "gangstas" find their real gifts/talents and use those and NOT guns??

I love that song, too. It really did not get the recognition it deserves.

It sure didn't. The vocals are AWESOME and the song carries so much weight in profundity.

I wonder why they did not get more air time; bad management I suppose. The CD on a whole was good.

The lyrics just kill me. I felt like whoever wrote it knew what I've been feeling.
Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You by Lady Antebellum w/b Dave Haywood / Charles Kelley / Hillary Scott
I know that the bridges that I've burned along the way Have left me with these walls and these scars that won't go away And opening up has always been the hardest thing Until you came
So lay here beside me, just hold me and don't let go This feeling I'm feeling is something I've never known And I just can't take my eyes off you
I love when you tell me that I'm pretty when I just wake up And I love how you tease me when I'm moody, but it's never too much. I'm falling fast, but the truth is I'm not scared at all You climbed my wall
So lay here beside me, just hold me and don't let go This feeling I'm feeling is something I've never known
And I just can't take my eyes off you

I've never heard of Lady Antebellum. The lyrics to this song are quite lovely, Hunter. Thank you for sharing.

Oh, I did listen to it. I'm sorry. I meant I had never heard of her before I had listened to it here. (Duh! Sorry about that ... 9 hours with my busy grandbaby on 4 hours sleep! I'm a little loopy! lol)
I liked the music and her singing alright. The lyrics are what is most appealing to me. And I love that you devoted it to your Bri, of course.

You know something I like about her singing this song?
It's so muted - so you focus on what she's saying. I tend to be a lyrical person when it comes to songs. I love when some songs have an over the top vocal performance - say by Celine Dion or Mariah Carey. Even more though I like people who aren't the best singers, but you feel the meanings in their songs - like Billy Joel, Elton John and like this song. I feel like I can sing it. I wouldn't even attempt to sing a song that Whitney, Celine or Mariah has sung. EVER.

Ladies & Gentleman, my niece Taylor performing our National Anthem. Lately, she has been asked to sing at a lot of events. I think with good reason. She's AWESOME!
She has an audition coming up to sing the National Anthem for the Nebraska State games.......Wow.
Hope you all enjoy!

I know I have told you this already, but it can never be said enough how great of a singer that I think your niece is. She really rocks - and the burst of applause she gets is well earned.

My Sweet.
Give a ferret a box of "toys" and they'll play for hours. Her favorite toy is a stuffed reindeer her "Grandmother" gave her. She always hauls it off behind the couch and wants us to put it back - so she can haul it again.
She's my Doll Baby!

Why you don't put Christmas presents under the tree until Christmas Eve when you own a ferret.
