Cast of "From This Day Forward"!

ARI: My dear you GO FOR IT!

This is The Ashton-Drake doll collection “From This Day Forward”. I inherited this beautiful collection from my very dear and wonderful friend who passed away in Nov of 2005. It is in her honor that I’m doing this story.







ISABEL - 1900's Doll: This beautiful Sim was a gift from my dear friend Cherie! She plays Lydie in her story “Dark Eyes”!





ERIKA – 1930's Doll: My Sim!





ARIANA – 1960's Doll: I used Ari’s gorgeous Sim, Elanil, to make Ariana! I thought she captured the elegance and sophistication of the 1960’s doll! Thank-you my dear friend for letting me use your name for this character!





SANDRA – 1990's Doll: My Sim! I don’t know how it happened but something about this Sim reminds me a lot of my beautiful friend, so now this Sim has become very special to me…





MADELEINE & BIBI: This is Hunter’s gorgeous Sim Madeleine who I knew would be perfect for this story as soon as I saw her! And Sugah was kind enough to let me cast her fabulous, Bibi Chevalier, as Madeleine’s mother!





JAMES & KOLE: James is a blond Vasili, lol, and Kole is a X-Mas Sim I made for Sugah’s Place!





ISAIAH & VIKTOR: I used my dear friend Cherie’s Isaih Grant to make Isaiah! And Viktor is Karen’s Victor from her “Dracula’s Diaries”!

Thank you honey, but, I am by no means a Sim Creator. You are far more better at it than I am. Those are truely a work of art. You have a gift of creativity that I lack.

Those are some BEAUTIFUL Sims! The men are...........uhhhhh......I want I want I want! My Sims models would be in a heap of trouble around THEM! They are GORGEOUS!

I also want to say sorry for the loss of your friend Z. It's obvious she was very talented at making beautiful Sims, but more importantly if she was your friend - she had to have been a very beautiful person. What a beautiful way to honor her.

My beautiful friend who passed away did not play Sims. She was an angel on earth and she touched the hearts of everyone she came in contact with...she was caring, loving, and always very respectful towards others. They called her the angel lady, because she made angels out of everything!

Two of my prized possessions are 2 angels she made using the shoulderpads of my grandmother's favorite jacket, my grandmother passed away in 1998. My friend made the angels for my mother and me, and we LOVED them! It was a beautiful way to remember our loved one.

When my wonderful mother passed away, my dear friend cross stiched several beautiful mats of the same poem and framed them with a picture of my mother and a small angel pin... She gave each of us a frame and even one each to my mami's sisters... My sweet friend was definitely an angel on earth...

I totally misunderstood Z. I thought she gave the dolls and then made the first Sim you pictured. DUH!

At any rate - my sentiment remains the same - honoring a friend in any way is a beautiful thing - and by singing her praises here, you have. I also stand correct on the fact that she had to have been wonderful to have been a friend of yours Dear Lady.

Oh, my! How absolutely beautiful your entire cast is, Z!



It's so neat to see the way you created Sims based on Sandra's lovely doll collection.
They are simply spectacular.
I remain touched everytime I hear you speak of your dear angel friend.
We should all be so blessed in this life to have a friend as special and as dear as Sandra was to you.

I love seeing familiar Sims cast in your stories/videos. I didn't recognize Ari's Elanil, but she has always been one of my favorites of Ari's models.
I recognized Kole right away (who I still have a crush on, lol) and Madeleine (who I've always thought was so lovely)...and of course, my own Bibi Chevalier. You've changed her hair and something else about her, but she is still definitely my Bibi! She looks beautiful, Z.
Thank you for casting her as Madeleine's mama. I love it!

That is really beautiful, Z. What a beautiful memorial for your dear friend. I remember talking with you about this project over the summer, and I'm very happy to see it coming to life. It's such a neat idea, too. I look forward to reading it. I had forgotten you named one of the brides Ariana It will be so neat to see my name somewhere, lol. DEAR SUGAH: I'm so happy you like the cast my dear! I'm very excited of finally having them all set up! Lol! My dear I can assure you I did nothing to Bibi, except change her hairstyle and clothes, I don't even think I changed her makeup... It's amazing how much a hairstyle change can do to a Sim and even to a real person right, lol?

Bibi's role is going to be very intense, I was thinking about some of her lines earlier and I started to cry like a baby...his is going to be a hard story for me but at the same time is one that I'm very excited to do!

What a neat idea! It's really cool to see the sims next to the dolls they were based on. They're all lovely. I love their eyes. I really liked Madeline too. She was one of my favorite models, because she has such pretty features. It will be neat to see her in your story.

Dear Em, thank-you very much! I love this doll collection, and I'm very happy with the final result of the Sims that are playing them! It was actually quite fun trying to get the Sims to match them as closely as possible! Even the wardrobe! Again thank-you so much for your kind words!

I used to hate my name. When I was in first grade the other kids teased me about it because it wasn't normal. I remember sitting on the playground crying my eyes out. I went home and told my mom I wanted to change my name. She said I had to wait until I was 18, then if I wanted to, I could. But as time wore on I began to appreciate it, lol! And I actually have used it in a story. It's that one I've been working on for the past couple of years - my novel that I hope to polish up this year and submit for publishing. It was my husband's idea to put us both in the story and then kill the characters off - just for fun. His was killed almost immediately, but I grew attached to mine and she made it through the whole story!

Did I tell you that my mother loved the name Ariana SO MUCH it was the heroine's name in one of the books she was writing?
Years ago, Avon put a fragrance out called "Ariane". I think it came out the year I graduated h.s., back in the late 70s.
Because my mom loved that name and it was the lead character's name in her story, I used to buy that fragrance for her.
