I love this song and Donny Hathaway's voice just moves me to tears. This song has a special meaning to me as it reminds me of my sweetie...

Don't know how I missed your Donny Hathaway post. He's, I think, the best R&B male vocalist that ever lived. I love that song, but my personal favorite is "I Love You More Than You Will Ever Know".
It's sad that he didn't realize his gift and live on to sing more songs for us all.
Leo - is adorable.

I agree Hunter, I just love his voice, it moves me so much.
Thank you, I do think my Leo is a cutie pie. He is such a sweet and loving cat and he's spoiled rotten as you can tell.

Sorry for my delay. I'm so behind in here.
It's a beautiful song, Jen. The lyrics are quite moving & I love the piano playing in it. I've heard of Hathaway, but am not familiar with his music. I'll YouTube him to learn more.
I love the beach, come rain or shine, but adore feeling the sun on my face, especially.
Awww...look at lazy little Leo! I am keeping little Leo in my thoughts and sending out positive vibes for his safe return to you, dear lady. Here's hoping he is being taken care of by a friendly neighbor who wanted to keep him sheltered from all the storms you've been having.

Here's two more of my favorite things, I mean how can you go wrong with Elton John singing and Robert Downey Jr in the video?

This is one of my favorite Elton songs! It had been so long since I'd seen the video I forgot one of my favorite actors was in it. Thanks for sharing it and bringing back some memories.

That certainly is a double bonus there Jen.
As I get older - Robert Downey, Jr. - just becomes more delish! I remember seeing him in Less Than Zero about 20 years ago - and knowing that he was pretty much like the troubled soul character that he played. Now here's a tidbit I don't think I'd shared before, a girl that graduated my high school a few years before me went to Hollywood upon graduating. She never made it big, but (also being a gymnast) she got to extra in the movie "American Anthem" and she also got to extra in Less Than Zero too. She had the pleasure of meeting him for a brief moment. She said he was polite, but she knew he had problems.
I think for many years after that I thought of him as a stupid, ungrateful, selfish brat - to have that talent and want to throw it away on drugs. To see where he is in life now - and having a 6 degree of separation from him - I couldn't be more proud. I truly love the man and consider him a "gift" to the entertainment industry.

There is just something about a man with an accent....
This one, Clive Owen has some very dreamy eyes and he made it to one of my favorite things list...
and my favorite movie he is in Beyond Borders...
