There's definitely more to come Jackie. I've really enjoyed playing this house. It's so precious.

I'm enjoying playing with this house Jackie. It is so sweet and charming.

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage6
Lexi has put a piano in the entry way and designed the kitchen with a look that I feel suits the painted wood. She did not want to change the walls or floors at all.

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage7
The kitchen is small and cozy, but comfortably fits two.

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage8
Division of space was important to Lexi, so she put a stone hearth in the kitchen to divide it from the living room.

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage10
I agreed with her decisions and thought she made the cozy little place very homey and unique to fit her style - but without changing or compromising the sweet simpleness of the cottage.

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage13
Here's a view from the living room looking towards the kitchen.

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage11
She loves her bedroom. It's smallish, but so comfortable and not so small that she can't live in it.

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage12
Home office space is important to Lexi as she plans on writing articles for the local papers and magazines to make additional income. It fits perfectly in her bedroom.

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage16
She did add a back door for easier access to the outhouse, which she charmingly calls the "Away Bath". Purple Cottage 308424

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage19
She left it simple and added a rustic painting and a towel rack.
She has plans once she saves some money to add a clawfoot bathtub.

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage2
Lexi is loving her massively huge yard and has done a lot with it. She most enjoys looking through her telescope which she's placed on the bluff in the back of the yard.

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage17
She's also added an archery block and discovered while digging, that she had a hot spring.

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage20
After long days in the lab at work, she enjoys coming home to sit in the hot spring. It's fall where she lives now, so sitting in it is just perfect.

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage21
She feels very fortunate that she came across this lovely little cottage that was in her favorite color.

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage25
The Shaws live across the street in a gorgeous beach home. They're very polite and expecting their first child any day.

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage26
Across the other street lays an empty lot called "The Little Hideout". No one has moved in yet, but she's hopeful for more friends.

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage22
She's already met the Shaws, and Chris from further down the street. He lives in some group home - but Lexi is not sure what the group is for. He seems pretty nice and he's pretty cute though.

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage24
She's also met Lilly from the group home. She likes her, but finds her a bit "off".

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage23
The first night after being decorated and moved in, she makes herself some homemade chicken noodle soup.

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage31
She also welcomed Gizmo, a cat from the local shelter.

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage28
She's had to scold him for trying to destroy her planter.

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage29
But she's sure to give him plenty of love and teach him right from wrong.

Purple Cottage PurpleCottage30
After her evening shower, she heads back to the house to go to bed, excited for what the new day will bring.

Thank you for this lovely little cottage Jackie. It's a joy to play. Between the Spouse Swap and Looney Bin challenge and you creating charming homes - I'm really enjoying playing the Sims again. Purple Cottage 455534
