We just take challenges we find online and pick and choose the parts we like and ignore the rules we don't. That's all there is too it. ;)

Yeah, I'm surprised at how good looking my random sims turned out. I got pretty lucky, I guess. I thought about using downloaded sims, but the random ones worked for me, so I didn't have too. Dalia was the last sim I made and by that time I was tired of being in CAS and I didn't even look at her all that closely. Those eyebrows do bug me though everytime I make her click on something and her icon comes up, there they are. lol Now that there's no little, little ones to take over, I think it's makeover time!

Brody is also replused by Dalia's eyebrows. Or maybe it's that she's unemployed that's putting him off. He didn't have any chemistry with his wife either, until she got a job.



He still goes on about how grossed out he is by her, even when they aren't in the same room anymore.



Dalia and Keshawn seem to get along ok though.



She hovers over him as he makes grilled cheese sandwiches. Keshawn and his wife Lexie both got grilled cheese as a random secondary aspiration.



"Ok, Dalia, it's time to go home." I'm sure she's hanging around there to get away from her house full of kids.



Madeleine is appalled to accidentally walk in on Keshawn and Lexie. That's the risk of having two adult couples in the same house. Actually she was freaked out about seeing her husband in the bath and just happened to walk out into their room while they were getting intimate.



Brody and Lexie are having an open discussion. I'm not sure if that's appropriate conversation, considering Lexie is married to Brody's brother.



When I left off, both Madeleine and Lexie were pregnant. So next time I play this household there will be some new babies in the family. I'm going to have to do some remodeling, so they have a place to put a couple of cribs.

LOL! That cracked me up that Brody kept getting the heebies about Dalia! Don't you just love it they way sims just openly discuss woohoo like it's perfectly normal to do so? I've had that happen a lot of times. With all age groups. It always makes me laugh.

HOW FUN! Em, I can't believe I ever missed that when a Sim is turned off by another, he/she does the "thumbs down" thing! That was a great little capture there.
I agree with the ladies. It's a hoot that Brody kept reliving how icky he thought Dalia was, even after she left.
Those ARE some hideous eyebrows. I must concur.

It's fun having two pregnant sims in the same house. The ladies wake up early in the morning, rushing to the bathroom with their bladders full. Then head to the kitchen to raid the fridge. Madeleine looks disappointed at the choice of food. Guess they were out of whatever she was craving.



Before she can get breakfast, she goes into labor.



But where's her husband? Here's the proud papa, headed off to work as his wife is having a baby. Brody really should have been a wealth sim.



It's a girl! Welcome to the family, Macie Robertson.



Madeleine passes the baby off to Keshawn and heads out to catch her carpool. Hold on, I don't think you need to go to work just after having a baby, especially when your hunger and energy are both in the red. Nope, you're staying home and getting some rest!



See? And you thought you could make it through a whole workday. She couldn't even make it through breakfast.



Lexie isn't fairing much better and both ladies take turns passing out at the table.



Dalia and Jasmyn walk by the house daily and usually the Robertsons invite one or both in. Keshawn rolled a want for Dalia to eat one of his grilled cheese sandwiches, so I called her to the meal. Then as soon as she did, he rolled the want to flirt with her . . . I guess eating his grilled cheese sandwiches is the way to his heart. Too bad they were going bad just as Dalia and Lexie started to eat.



Dalia: I know my eyes aren't what they used to be, but are there green fumes coming off of this grilled cheese?



Lexie: (thinking) I know I shouldn't be eating this, but I'm just so hungry.



Even though she just had a baby a few hours ago and she's not even a family sim, Madeleine is thinking about adoption. Both she and her husband Brody are becoming close friends with Jasmyn Avery, so I'm going to pretend that they wish they could adopt her.



Lexie also gives birth in the kitchen while preparing grilled cheese . . . imagine that.



Everyone freaks out. Madeleine will know what to do!



Madeleine acts as shocked as everyone else and Dalia just looks bored with the goings on. Not more babies.

I wanted to keep playing until they were toddlers, but I had to quit and when I went back I decided to catch up the Averys. I'd already played the Robertsons up to their second week and they all had their own pop-up message about what a great week they'd had.

At the Avery's Dalia gets her makeover. Doesn't she look better now? She seems less than thrilled.



She's becoming enamored with Keshawn and wants to flirt, kiss, and be best friends with him. She tries to flirt, but he's not interested. With a pretty, young wife at home (even though he is a romance sim) I can't blame him. I'm not going to pursue it. Actually the next time I play I'm going to make another family or two. Dalia needs some singles to flirt with and Jasmyn really needs some teens to hang out with. Dalia can find some service sims to befriend, but the only other teen in the neighborhood is the paper boy. Jasmyn only has the adults or little kids to hang out with.



Dalia: So what about woohoo?
Keshawn: Uh, no. I'm not discussing that with you.



These kids love to gossip. About their granny . . .

Jasmyn: Hmmm, I know I was furious about something, but I can't remember what now.



The kids are all doing well, they're either in platinum or gold aspiration and are keeping up on their studies, all except Allen who is struggling. Dalia isn't doing too well. It's hard to keep her needs up. I'm glad she's the only high maintenance one in the household. Dalia: Oh, all of these kids!

I had the exact same thing happen to me - just tonight Blake Halsten got a burning thought bubble with nothing in it. He did it twice, but I wasn't fast enough to catch a picture of it - the house is way crowded and busy, now. What do you suppose it means?

Em, this was wonderfully entertaining! But lady how you can handle a Sim house with so many children is beyond me! I can barely deal with two (the very few times I have actually played my game, lol)

Well, I looked through Jasmyn's relationship panel and the only person she was furious with was one of her little brothers. She's a very neat sim, so I'm guessing he made some kind of a mess in the house and that ticked her off. I don't know why there was no picture of him in the thought bubble though.

I'm going to have to look up Mary Travers. I'm not sure who that is . . . I kind of miss Dalia's long hair. She doesn't seem the same with her new style, even though I knew I had to keep it blonde. She wouldn't let it go completely gray.

The kids are actually pretty easy to take care of. The toddlers were hard, but for the kids I just have Dalia or Jasmyn serve a meal once a day (they eat at school) and let them play together most of the time. They are almost always outside playing catch or having water balloon fights. There's only one shower though, so they have to take turns with the bathroom. I've been using the aspirational points that come with freetime to make their needs decay slower. This is the first time I've got to really play for any stretch of time since I bought freetime, so that's new to me and I'm not sure what difference it makes.

I think I must have the same hack as you, Ari, that has a pop-up to ask permission before the kids bring a friend home and gives the kids a no homework day once in awhile. I forgot I'd downloaded that, but I think it makes it more realistic. How many kids, especially in elementary school have tons of homework every single night. Maybe they do now, but it wasn't like that when I was in school.

I added a new family. I'll have to share pics later. Sunday night I decided to roll for a 3rd family, because I was getting kind of bored with the Averys, especially since there were no teens for Jasmyn to hang out with. My neighborhood doesn't have any townies in it. But I was being too picky and kept rolling over and over, until it wasn't random anymore. Monday I tried again and only rerolled after I got two single sim households in a roll and settled on the third one. It's another elderly lady with a house full of kids, but I'm doing it a little differently this time. I got them settled in and then went back to the Averys to re-play the day I'd lost. The little boy wanted to play along with me and turned off my computer while I was playing the game. Luckily I didn't lose too much.
