| You'll get to see the source of my frustrations the last few days. I was looking for a different dining room set. I really didn't like the one I had. So, I downloaded about 20 different sets. Each and every one I tried didn't look right. Until finally, I found this one and gave up. Circular table with a circular rug. Plus, the rug fits with the deco of the house. WHEW! While in my travels, I found this "Reading Room" over at TSR. One look and I had to have it. This is the artwork/picture that came with the set. You ca see his Starbucks coffee and the journal he writes in......NOT! It's deco. The black bookcase is part of the set. Moving along....He's more of the set. The self has five useable slots. The magazine and the pyramid comes with the set also. On the right side, there's a red coffee cup and saucer, just can't see it. And, HORRORS! Michael smokes!! YIKES! A differet view of the set. The bookcases at the bottom of the picture come with the set also. And, on the right wall, one of three pictures that are my pride and joy! Here, I was working on his bedroom....again. The set that Sugah helped me with crashed my game. I'm so sorry honey. All we went through and it crashed. You should've heard me when it crashed. I sat here going, DIRTY BLANK BLANK. WE GO THORUGH ALL THE BLANK AND THIS BLANK BLANK HAPPENS, THIS JUST BLANKING BITES. Unknown to me at the time, my neighbor was looking through the livingroom window, he had that look like I lost a few screws. So, I snapped back, GO AHEAD AND PUT ME ON BLANKING OPRAH. So when all else fails, go back to the orginal. Now, I'm a tad bit confused. I've got three different pictures. I'm undecided on the wallpaper. Each wallpaper carries the same basic theme, just different colors. Red. This might be too dark. Another one of three pictures that's my pride and joy! Grey. I think this is too dark. White. I think this is just too plain and dull.

| Oh Ed!!! I'm not laughing AT you......but your description of everything and the situations you've been put in. Creating, decorating and designing can be a pain My Friend. I want to tell you though - nothing you've ever posted here is dull. NOTHING. I think anyone can see the thought you put into the designing of rooms that you do. I see it and I think it always looks fabulous. LOVE the incident with your neighbor! Just let it all out Mister! We're here for you and we don't think you've lost a few screws. _________________ "I'm gonna smile because I deserve to........"

| Thank you, my friend. The situation with the bedroom set is an edited version. Naturally I'm a psycho if I'm sitting here cussing at my computer screen. I feel bad for Sugah, I sent her a message asking her if she would help me out since SimControl is in Spanish. She did what she could, but did in fact point me in the right direction. I found a translation button and looking and using my (short) memory did the rest. And, that bedroom set was perfect for Michael. CRUD! Everytime I look at a room I've done, I always go, I can do better. Thus starts my mad downloading sprees and escalating blood pressure. Thank you for letting me vent. Rare, I do something like that.

| I'm so sorry about your game crashing after all that, Ed! That sucks, big time. Everything was just gorgeous. You have such a flair for color and balance - I always love looking at your rooms. I loved the red bedroom, by the way, and didn't think it looked too dark at all. _________________ Real life gets in the way of my computer time My Story Blog |

| First of all, if I haven't said how fabulous I think red, black and white look together, I'm saying it now. I LOVE that combination. Probably as much as I love soft blue, yellow and white together, especially for seaside retreat decor. Anyhoo, Ed, I LOVE IT! What a gorgeous abode! You have impeccable taste and a true gift for decorating and pulling everything together to make it look just right. Must...have...that...circular...table & chair set...PLEASE! I love the smaller ones and use them often. I love the tall vases/pottery, too, in the living area. What a find! Do those gorgeous, long windows that look etched come in white, by any chance? I must admit, the wall decor I created from Harry's abstract art looks really good in game. I can't take credit for that, since the art IS Harry's, but I really like how they spiff up a room. | Quote: | Here, I was working on his bedroom....again. What a bummer! I wonder why it caused your game to crash? It was a beautiful set. That's too bad, Ed. I don't blame you for being ticked off after you finally found out how to download the dang set! I'm sorry about that, hon. Have you ever had any trouble with other items from that site? It's a shame you finally found the set you wanted and your dang game crashes. UGH!
You'd asked WHICH wall we all like for the bedroom. I'm not crazy about the design on it for some reason, but if I had to choose, I like the white best. It may not be the most exciting choice, but appeals to my eyes the most.
Thank you SO much for sharing what's going on in your game. I look forward to the ongoing Escalating Escapades of Edward's! _________________ Specializing in CC recolors, custom walls, prime real estate, Sim models and so much more. ... Always free - Updated weekly ... |

| If you remember Michael's Bedroom, I had to change the wallpaper and floor. It kept coming out too dark and some things on the floor wasn't showing up. Sugah knows my frustrations from reading my thread over at Thyme2Sim. I couldn't find a floor to go with the wallpaper I chose And, I was adamant a.k.a. stubborn that I wanted a wooden floor. To make a long story short, it involved, Valium, an extra large can of Monster Energy Drink, a half a pack of cigarettes and four packages of Jack Link's All American Beef and Cheese sticks. Sooooooo, this is how it looks now. How I came up with this wallpaper was, I picked a color out from the rug. The floor is Golden Bamboo. Then I found this floor. Kinda funky, kinda busy looking. This is his new diningroom and kitchen. I kinda like the wallpaper I used on the half wall. It looks like it's "layered" wood. Might take it off. The kitchen looks "iffy" Here's a part of the livingroom Here's a slightly further shot of the living room. The side table goes with the diningroom set. The only rooms you will not see for the time being is, the music room and office/study. I'm waiting on something to be created. When I do get it, I'll show it off.

| Hello my dear Sunshine! This is my opinion on the bedroom I preferred the darker colors you had before they made the room stand out more. I don’t like this mustard color at all, and unfortunately that color on the floor makes the gorgeous rug disappear. I agree the wall you had before with those patterns made the room look too busy. If you could find a wall the same color as that big stripe on the bedspread (looks like cinnamon) and try that out with a dark wood floor see how that looks. Also the green/blue on the windows behind the headboard doesn’t match with anything in the room. The kitchen/dining room: I really like the dining room furniture and that wallpaper you used on the half wall! But I think overall it needs a few dark colors. Try using darker brown wood for the kitchen cabinets I think that will make the half walls stand out more. I’m not too sure about the kitchen floor, maybe with the darker cabinets it will look OK. Definitely the floor area under the dining table should be darker to help the table stand out more. The living room furniture is very cute, and I love that area rug! |

| Yes, Ma'am! I shall follow your suggestions! Actually, I was sitting here nodding my head agreeing with you. I liked what I had before, but, some things weren't showing up that I had on the floor. The whole concept of the bedroom was to make it bold and make a statement. Masculine. That's why I went with darker colors. I already changed the kitchen. I used a dark wood cabinet with like a tan/beige "granite" conter top. And, I put down a marble floor. The only thing I didn't do was, change the color of carpet uunder the dining room table. That I will do when I go back in the game. Plus, you get to see the added bonus of Michael, resting in his hammock!

| Ed! The colors and patterns are fanfreakingtastic!! ARE you going to start an Interior Design Firm???? I really think you should do that. I think people should be able to come to you with their undecorated Sims houses and YOU do your magic. IF you do decide to do that my Friend - I'm first in line!!!!! _________________ "I'm gonna smile because I deserve to........"

| As always, I love your decorating skills and ability to find fabulous downloads to accomodate your ideas and design. I like those windows more everytime I see them and I love all the earthy & neutral tones and couldn't agree with this more: | Z wrote: | | The kitchen/dining room: I really like the dining room furniture and that wallpaper you used on the half wall! |
Beautifully done, as always, Ed. You really could open up your own Sims Interior Designs site! Hunter's right!

| I've been taking a break doing Michael's house and working on TJ and Charles house. What I decided to do was, using their fantastic picture (thank you Lady Z and Sugah) and bedding made for me by VADixieGal and still keeping within the original blue and white theme, I turned the house into a beach type theme. Starting off, here's the bedroom with the bedding made by VADixieGal. The bed isn't made. Excuse me and them. I'm still working with the wallpaper. Now, the bedding, I have two different types. The one you see, blue fitted sheet, green pillows. The other one is, a green fitted sheet with blue pillows. Then, I found this cloudy wall art. If you ask me, tacky. Now, for the backyard. And, the Hubble Telescope took this picture. I still have to put a grill and table in. Make it really.....Beachin'!

| I have always been partial to beach homes. I think I posted somewhere before, that in addition to the red, black and white use of colors, I also love the soft blue, yellow and white combo... ESPECIALLY for beach houses. I love, love, love that outdoor patio furniture, Ed. Fabulous, dahling. _________________ Specializing in CC recolors, custom walls, prime real estate, Sim models and so much more. ... Always free - Updated weekly ... |
