I'd love to see screenshots of my Sugah's Place creations in your game.

I always tell my fellow forumers and friends that it just tickles me to no end to see my creations in their games. It simply brightens my day to know others like what I do, as creating for the Sims is truly a labor of love for me.

Won't you post your screenshots of how you've used Sugah's Place downloads in your game? From walls to complete Sim models to my Maxis recolors and/or Sims abodes...
I'd truly love it if you'd share your images with me.

Soon, I'll be collecting some in game screenshots of my walls & coordinating sets and will be featuring them at Sugah's Place.
I'll be choosing some from my game & some you all are kind enough to share HERE (with your permission, of course).

What I'll be looking for is somewhat close up shots that truly showcase some of my creations, so my visitors can get a much better idea of how they might look in their games.

I am not sure I will keep this particular format, but this is an example of what I MAY do when featuring some of in game screenshots.
Click on the little camera under my Irish Kitchen Set here and under Zayury's and my Metallic Art here.

Again, I haven't decided exactly how I will showcase the screenshots I choose. This is just one idea.
If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions, I am definitely open to hearing them.

Hey Sugah -

You could do a Slideshow Presentation called "Portfolio" - models use portfolios, architects do - any creator can. AND - you certainly ARE a creator. Of course, you can also give information about your portfolio here - with a link directly to it at your site. That way people in one click can see a vast array of your work. Just an idea. Kiss

I think the portfolio is a great idea.

I'm thinking, do a slideshow like I did, and you can always edit/update it.

You've got lots for options to choose from as far as how you want it to be displayed.

If it were me, I'd do the slideshow.

Thank you both for your suggestions. I really like the slideshow idea. I'm guessing "portfolio" is a special slideshow option, Hunter?

The only issue I see with this is if I only have one or two in game screenshots to share with my visitors.
I'd really like to post the images near each creation, if you know what I mean (like I did here - found some more screenshots in My Pictures files last night!).
If I had a half dozen or so, I could see justifying doing a slideshow. Again, I like the idea, but would need TONS more in game images of my creations.

Now ... If you're talking about doing a few slideshows and incorporating a number of in game screenshots and placing the portfolio in it's own, separate place, featuring some of my favorite downloads ... that might be a terrific idea!!! Smile

I would love to post pictures of both you and Hunter's work sometime. If I ever think about it while playing (I'm obsessive when I play) I will get some screenshots.

That was my thinking on it, too, Z. Also, it's a very quick and painless method of viewing images.
One click on the camera and my visitors can pull up a nice, big in game screenshot...or two or three.

I like the idea of a slideshow on the front page one day ... maybe I'll do it when Sugah's Place celebrates 100,000 visitors this spring! Yup
